Time to start tomorrow's Thread. We had rain all day and temps stayed right around 44° and low tonight was 39°. so Tuesday is possible our snow day.
Took me longer to get my hair colored and cut and it stayed dark all day so didn't feel like a good day to run errands, so Monday was a bit of wash out. Hope Tuesday is better. It is a stay at home day so will be back to see is you are snowed in, or enjoying sunshine. I want sunshine and snow. And hey, that could happen.
QOTD
Do you wear slippers around the house, or just socks or bare feet.
I am a bit of a barefoot person but do have some very warm fleese lined slippers that have an indoor, outdoor sole on them. I very seldom wear them but don't tell my DD#1 as she got them for me so I won't fall out in the garage. LOL I like thin slippers with a sole as my feet get too hot. But even today was out in garage in barefeet. Guess my DR would yell at me as well. It is what it is.

33 when I got up to 60 with sunshine. Now I can handle that. Gonna take Bearly to get his nails trimmed then work in the camper. Gotta sweep and vacuum out the dead Japanese beetles. Then put my bedding, dishes etc back in. Looks like the weather will cooperate for the first week of Dec.
No, I do not wear slippers. I have to have a good sole on my shoe. I can't walk barefooted, so only am barefooted at night to go to the bathroom etc.
Coffee, coffee. Be back later. Have a great day.

Good Morning Connie and November Gratefuls,
This morning it is 12º (feels like 2º) and going up to 27º and partly cloudy becoming sunny in the afternoon with winds WNW 5-10 mph. The side streets weren’t plowed yesterday, so they are still frozen and very slippery.
All three girls will go back to school today. I don’t think there will be another snow day even though the side streets are still slippery.
I’m still reading the Chocolate Bunny Brouhaha, by JoAnna Carl and I’m almost finished with this one.
Rachael made a delicious shrimp Alfredo for our supper and we had some fresh baked gingerbread cookies for dessert.
MAXINE CALENDAR: Tue 11/27: Sure, I still have fantasies … usually involving a bat and the office copier.
PEANUTS CALENDAR: Tue 11/27: THE DAILY EXTRA: By the Number. $30,000: Amount Congress appropriated in 1843 for Samuel F.B. Morse to construct the first experimental telegraph line between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.
GIVING THANKS DORIS 199/138/146

QOTD - I wear soft moccasins around the house. I don't like to go barefoot and never have, even as a kid.

Brrrrrr, y'all keep your snow and cold weather. I am building a wall. Up to 35 now. I finished my coffee but not ready to dress and take Bearly to get his claws trimmed yet. So I made a hot cup of spiced tea.
Cat we could use a little rain. It is in the forecast for Friday, but only a 30% chance.

I am making a slow cooker of chicken 'stew' that I will put in some containers to microwave when camping next week. We are doing our own thing and I am glad because I can't handle some of the rich sweets etc and always eat so as not to hurt feelings.

Hi!
I wear braces to walk, so I never go barefoot or wear slippers. Sigh. At night when I get up, I have SAS sandals, I wear, because I use the walker then.
We will have another day like yesterday, warming up into the 40s. This morning, our DD slipped going down her front steps, and hit her head. She drove on to school, but after an hour or so, she wasn't feeling well. The nurse checked her and said she thought it might be concussion, so she should go home but not drive herself. DD couldn't get her DH to answer the phone, so she called us. DH has gone out to get her and he'll try to get her to go to Urgent Care. He had just gotten home from taking the car for service. So a busy day for him. Her car will have to be gotten, too. Sigh... Falls are just not good.
Today, I'll be doing DD's laundry, and since she is hurt, I'll try to get her to let me make chili mac for everyone for supper. I never got the cookies made yesterday. This allergy mess just made me feel too yucky. So today, I'll make a chocolate cake. I will cut it into six or eight pieces, and freeze some of them. Maybe -- that was my plan anyway.
Be happy today! Diane
