Have just read today's posts, so making some assumptions.
Sharon, yes, I am a Goldilocks walker - Walking outside: not when it's too hot and not when it's too cold. So I walked over to the rec center and did 30 minutes there today. Walking to and from is 10 min each way unless I go the longer way home, which I didn't.
QOTD:
1. Are any of you doing the AARP challenge (either their version or yours)? How are you doing?
Yes, I'm doing the walk. I think I'm doing pretty well overall. I missed the two bridge days and I've had two days not quite 30 minutes, but it was better than nothing. My daily average is 46 minutes even missing.
2. Do you have any plans for Memorial Day weekend? The bridge tournament continues through the weekend. We will play Sat and Sun as pairs. We leave home at 8:30 and return at 5:30 so they will be full days. The only games on Monday are team games, which requires another pair, and I've got a request for another pair on the board. If we find a pair we'll play Swiss teams, which is a particular player movement. Otherwise we'll be home. I hope to find one as Swiss is probably my favorite.
DGS-8 has basketball practice tonight and I'll get him. I usually get him by now, but he has an ice cream social at school so I'm waiting for that to be over. Wouldn't want to pick him up too soon! DGS-5 will hang out with Gramps here. I know they planned that social with normal May weathr in mind. It's in the mid-70s here usually, not the mid-40s.
Gail, sounds like a good move ahead for you. I haven't read the details, just that you're moving nearer to DD. A mini-spat is pretty normal with all you both have going on. You are comfortable with each other and can release a little pressure keeping the lid on. Sort of like a pressure cooker letting off steam.
