I heard that the with the new plan you answer questions about yourself and your lifestyle then WW recommends a plan for you to follow. What plan(s)? No idea, but it’s interesting. They keep saying the new program with be more personalized and user-driven. I hope it’s true.

Our coach (Saturday 8 AM workshop) said that she was going to a training session in the immediate future. <hmmm>.

I am trying to think how they will offer "individualized" plans. I wonder if we'll all answer questions and then end up with the same number of assigned points or a simply filling option. I can't see how their app will account for different plans other than to assign different points. (like we already have) I'm interested to hear how this works.

you answer questions about yourself and your lifestyle then WW recommends a plan for you to follow. That sounds like they are trying to compete with NOOM. From what I've seen about that you take a survey and then they decided what's best for you, but they also base the price on those answers. Such as current weight, how much to loose, how fast you want to do it, etc.

I have already gotten 2 surveys. The first one was about diabetes but since I said I already accomplished my goals I wasn't picked for the survey. The second one was about buying WW kitchen tools either in a studio or online.I have no idea what the second one could be about.

Mindy has hinted that they intend to try too soothe the long-time members who quit over SmartPoints/Freestyle by offering a customized plan. I presume they will include ways in which members can somehow indicate that they are adults perfectly capable of controlling their behaviors without a back-end formula that punishes them (thank you very much). At the same time Mindy has stated that people who are having success with Freestyle will love the new plan. So the plan must have something to keep everybody (or at least more people) happy. borntexan, their expanded line of tools may not be selling well and, perhaps, they are trying to figure out whether that part of the business is worth keeping. There hasn’t been a single kitchen tool (except the points-calculating scale) that they have introduced since SmartPoints launched which is made better and sold cheaper by many other companies—and other company’s products don’t come emblazoned with logos for a weight-loss/health-watch company. Strange as it may seem, there are people who do WW and do not want anybody to know it (some don’t even let their spouses know!).

zazzles, and I am still trying to buy something with my WW Wins. I make sure I track food, weight and activity so I can collect my points. So far, I bought the cooler bag you recommended (thanks, I like it) and the small fake leather bag ("stronger than yesterday") but I still have lots of points. I predict they'll do away with that "benefit" when the new plan rolls out.

I predict they'll do away with that "benefit" when the new plan rolls out. I had that thought, too. I’m hoping I accumulate 3,000 Wins so I can get that cooler bag before any possible discontinuance of the Wins program. I have 7 weeks to go for the 3K mark. You can always trade in your Wins for $10 online store credit—1,500 Wins gets you a $10 credit. With the credit you can order one item and get free shipping; if the item costs more than $10 you pay the difference; if it is less, you lose the difference. I was going to suggest the soup mugs (given today’s discussion of soups), but they are out of stock at the moment. But you might find something you’d like there.

zazzles I just got the cooler bag, it's really big. I should have paid more attention to the measurements.

zazzles I just got the cooler bag, it's really big. I should have paid more attention to the measurements. I always assumed it was large enough to take grocery shopping. They had some promotion at the Stewdeeo a few months back—don’t remember the deal (perhaps buy so many boxes of snacks)—and the freebee was a lunch-sized insulated bag in faux denim with the WW logo. It is attractive and my entire group of friends took the bait to get the bag. I use it for toting beverges, lunch, insulin, etc. The one that is a WINS reward is one I want for grocery shopping—meats, frozen foods, dairy, etc.

zazzles , the denim bag looks very nice. As Jennifer , mentioned, the Wins cooler bag is much bigger but I think it would be great for grocery shopping. That is what I got it for. I may order another one as I have enough points. ETA: I just saw Mike's denim tote on Ebay for $22.99!

ETA: I just saw Mike's denim tote on Ebay for $22.99! That’s where I linked the photo from! It says: “2 sold, 1 left.” Makes me wonder how someone got three of them since it was not an item one could buy.

In the past they asked questions to find out if you are more satiated with carb or protein then offered ways to use your points to eat more of whichever you said you do better with. Perhaps something like that OR points vs SFT OR vegetarian vs omnivore vs vegan with ideas of what to eat to meet your nutritional needs within calories/points.
Who knows?
