Okay USA if it finally here for us ( chook knows we have all been totally jealous she got the rollout first!)!! So I thought I would consolidate a questions thread so people can look here for answers. I have the program in my hot little hands so if you have any specific questions feel free to ask away.

Forgot to add, two things they stressed at the meeting,
Make sure your app version is 8.0 or above. (To find out what version you have, click on your profile picture, then the gear, then scroll down.) If it isn't 8 or above head on over to your app store and if it isn't on your update list, do a search for it, if that doesn't say "update" then don't click open, click anywhere else and look for the "update" link.
Also when you go to log in tomorrow there will about 4 pages of stuff that you should read, don't just click next next next.

How are the daily points calculated for the purple plan ?
Do the weekly points for purple remain the same as they were for freestyle ?

Will all of our recipes adjust to all the plans? This has been a problem in the past. Thanksπ

Peace see Kitty's answer below. π€£ Just to clarify all calculations haven't changed to get your daily points. That's why if you are doing blue you still have the same number of dailies (and the minimum of 30 for green just like Beyond the Scale). Sorry I thought you were talking about the actual SPs for the dailies.
Yes weekly points are the same no matter what version you are doing, it is only the dailies that change.
Also there are still rollovers for all versions.

susieaz , the recipes will show the SPs for whichever plan you have it set for. Duh you meant "my recipes" they didn't address that but since the SP values haven't changed it won't be the big drama like it was going from PP to SP.

Peace123 - I do know that the the minimum points for a female on purple is 16. I would guess it would proportionately scale up for higher weights and for men but need to see the info online for sure which we won't have till tomorrow. DH went and weighed in today. He is free lifetime but they didn't give him a daily SP budget or weeklies. I guess they just assume he will look it up tomorrow. I am not sure how they would handle it for a pay as you go meeting member without the app. DebDoesWW, I have the materials. DH picked them up but didn't stay for meeting. Anyway, he noticed that the weigh in book is now much larger than it was before. This was a new book for him. Is this new larger weigh in book (called My Success Planner) new for this program or did it come out awhile ago and he just hadn't needed a new book until now. They are writing in the weight on it and the weight change. The large pages are for you to write in stuff.

Kitty , yes that is what I mentioned in the other thread. It is new for this plan and very nicely done. (Cardstock paper 8" x 5.5", 8 weeks for journaling)

I also attended a meeting this morningβdespite my planβbecause DebDoesWW goaded me into it in another thread by mentioning the materials and how nice they were reported to be. And I concur. I like what they handed me. Kitty nothing was said about the My Success Planner, but I if it is a start-up-only booklet and that once the initial four weeks are used up thatβll be the end of it. I should have asked specifically. It seems like it would cost them more to hand those out every. There is also a new MyWW cookbook which I boughtβbecause we all know Iβm addicted to cookbooks. Each recipe shows three colored circles with the points for the three plans. The Coach (my former one) gave the party line answer for how often one can change plans. I didnβt get a chance to ask whether one was restricted from changing plans more than weekly or bi-weekly. DebDoesWW did you hear an answer to that question? The Weekly handout has a recipe for Sweet Pootato Toast with Banana Honey & Pecans. Points are Green:4 Blue: 4 Purple: 3. Finally, the little free pocket/purse tracker is more colorful. The last piece of newsβfor meβis that they are bringing back the Monday morning meeting a week from tomorrow. It will be a 9:30 meeting whereas the previous meeting was 9:00. I donβt know how my little group of 8 will respond to that. I guess we will discuss it tomorrow.

zazzles they didn't say there was a limit to changing it in fact they mentioned changing it to see how many different points your favorite recipes are with the different programs. They also gave the standard "try and give each plan a few weeks to see if it fits" routine. The Sucess Planner is actually 8 weeks.

The Sucess Planner is actually 8 weeks. I missed that because of the βTake a Momentβ page that divides the two four-week periods.

If this has already been covered, I apologize.
When the website/app changes are live will we be given some kind of default plan? Is there something we need to do to change to whichever version of the plan we want?

I saw somewhere last week either in these message boards or a youtube video that the way to calculate the purple daily points was they are 23 percent less than before or 77 percent of the old number. So if your old number was 21 it would be 21 times .77 which would round to 16 points. Was just curious if that was correct.
