Side effects from the latest vax were practically nil. A bit spacy the day of, that was it. I got the Pfizer for the first time instead of Moderna. Flu shot on Friday. RSV next Wed.

Our collective bodies are so vaccinated that it's too bad we ever get sick at all!

finreporter , I know! And it's no guarantee you won't catch whatever, you just won't die from it.

I know, that's the good part. We most likely won't end up on ventilators or dead from flu or RSV or whatever we get inoculated against! It's why if I had to get Covid I'm at least glad it didn't come til I was fully vaccinated so that it could just feel as it did, like a tiring cold.

Got back from Seattle yesterday. Today I have been wiped out. Decided to take a Covid test, just in case. Drat! It showed no results. I'll take another one a little later this evening.

Hope it’s negative, Luanne! My daughter finally came up negative today. School nurse said she can return to campus tomorrow.

Second test was negative. I'll test again in a couple of days, just to be sure.

Tuesday I was heading to my cousin's to cut his hair, his wife called to tell me we should probably reschedule because she was feeling a little under the weather and had a sore throat. She said, I'm really ok I just don't want to expose you to anything.
Fast forward 24 hours - she has covid.
Thank you cousin Kris for being so thoughtful ❤

Husband and I both got our Flu and Covid at the same time and our arms were sore, I was fine otherwise, but my husband got flu-like symptoms that afternoon/evening, but was fine the next day. We switched him to Moderna because there is some research that shows the new Modern vax is slightly more effective so I figured why not?! We then got our RSV 10 days later with literally no side effects and not even a sore arm. So glad to see you guys getting the new Covid vax, well done all!

My son ended up testing positive for Covid last week but is better now and permitted to go back to school. Now that it’s run through all three of us I’m hoping we’re done with it for a long while! I now see it’s unrealistic to think we can avoid it forever but I’ll keep us on track for annual vaccinations. For now we can wait a few months to get the next round of Covid vaccine.

No covid on the cruise ship, as far as I know. No one in our party of three had any type of illness. I had the RSV a few days before we left. Absolutely no side effects other than a red, hot area at injection site. It lasted quite a while. Not sore just red and hot.

I didn't mask at the grocery store for the first time in ever, it seems. I'm vaxxed to the max, through with traveling for a while. No closely packed crowds in my future until March - trip to NY.
We were in close proximity to many, breathing the elevator air and everything, on the cruise. No problem. The only consistent maskers were older Asians. All passengers were using the hand sanitizer at every opportunity.

Our doctor's office has started requiring masks again. This is new within the last month. Also went to a specialist in Albuquerque today and they are requiring masks as well. Don't remember if they did when we were there a little over a month ago.

Masks are rare in Ohio, I see one every once in awhile,my first thought is, do they have covid or are they immune compromised?
