Z, I does sound like fun! It will be great when you are able to start selling these items. Glad you are enjoying your trip and Congrats!!! on staying OP. Yesterday I went on a field trip with the Native Plant Society and thoroughly enjoyed it. DH watched Clair so that was the first time in 6 months that I have gone some where without her. If I have a appointment I take her to DH's office etc. It was so fun and different to be without major responsibility for a few hours.I managed to get the floor vac'd where needed, dusted, cleaned off spots on windows. Put together the table for the latest decorative plan. Now I do these handywoman things by myself--no need t ask DH if I can avoid it since I am in a GOOD mood when I do all things like this and would rather not chance the grumpies--just saying, but not complaining.
Not much has been going on today since I seem to need some down time. Clair is spending more time outside her palace and thinks it is so funny when she escapes through the open door. On the 16th we go for what I hope are her last xrays. Six months is a very long time to live like this. If she is cleared to go back to somewhat normal activity we will then have to work up to her getting back to 100%. I have already started some of this by letting her stay out of her xpen and of course am running into problems. The main one being that she won't take her naps like she needs to so I am figuring this all out--how to manage this "getting back to normal". It's just great that we are getting back to something that is even somewhat semi-normal.
Hope you are having a wonderful time!!!

Hi, I’m glad the event was enjoyable for you! Is all your new furniture items arrived now? I hope you’re liking how it’s coming together! Is it all for one area or are several rooms undergoing changes? I hear you on the DH thing. With my recent decorating and accessorizing mania he either doesn’t notice the touches, most he’s fine with. Some he doesn’t like that I feel were important game changers in the improvement with overall look to the room. So if it’s obvious can’t miss change, and he says nothing, I know not to inquire because it will be negative. Hoping things continue to go well with Clair’s recovery you are soooooo close!
Today we took a day trip, shirt one from Munich to Tengersee. I may have misspelled that. It’s considered a spa town has a beautiful lake with a lot of Bavarian style architecture everywhere. We rode a gondola very high, 15 minutes up to the top of an Alpine mountain that gave viewx of the towns and lake below and view of other mountains. Was was very high, even when out standing on the mountain top, I have a bit of a fear of heights, the wind was blowing, and you really are on the ridge top, tho it’s Broad area, it is still unsettling for me. But not to the point I won’t ride the gondola or go up obviously, cause I did. But I get anxious and my stomach does s lot of roller coaster feelings and a bit dizzy. Do very beautiful, but glad to go down agsin!
We have one more day here then head home. I am ready. I’m unsure what we’ll do tomorrow, probably something in Munich before it gets hot.

Side note: I’ve been somewhat disappointed with the search for, and what I’ve found, for the hand crafted, made in Germany ornaments and such. My mom bought many different kinds of these 45 years ago, a great variety in themes, styles, which she’s passed on to three of us who decorate trees for Christmas. Nothing I’ve seen really come close. Not saying the Kathleen Wolfhart stuff isn’t cute, but I don’t see much of the solid thick hand carved things like my mom got years ago. Times have changed I suppose.

Z, Your trip sounds so interesting! Easter has changed so much also. I am not sure that all those extremely cute basket items are available anymore. My DM used to go all out for my basket and I still remember those intricate sugar eggs etc that seem to be a thing of the past. Also just the dressing up etc is something that I miss.
Last day of the month: 2,577 days of daily weighing, maintaining my WL, finished this month 19.6 down. This is my last weight loss--I will never gain it back. I will never eat as I did before. What's in my rear view mirror is so terrifying! For me it took a number of months thin to really understand and agree with----> Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.
Another down time day for me. I got several items accomplished but was not super busy. Thank goodness, I need some rest time! The decorating changes are primarily in the FR and LR. The furniture might come this weekend. Clair will still have her palace on display since she has to be kept separate from her siblings when they get into rough housing mode. Slowly I am figuring it all out. She can't go back to the insane way they played before or go for walks with them unsupervised. It's not all that much but hard to figure out how to safely move forward. Baby steps.... Speaking of stairs, hopefully she will be cleared in mid May to use a flight of two stairs. Right now all stairs are off limits. There are a couple of areas where she has to go up and down two stairs so I will be over the moon happy when she can do this since it will simplify my life quite a bit.
Hope you are having a relaxing evening!!!

Hi, I love reading about your weigh loss journey victory story! Yay you!!!
I’ll try not to get to excited about what scale may say upon return, but there has been a turn with some areas, body image and psychological for the better and I think I can build on this momentum in better direction upon return.
Tomorrow is our travel day homeward and I’m not gonna lose my mind on yucky plane food etc.
