The comment was made that your life is the result of what you think and what you choose. I thought that also applies to weight management, your results are based on what you think and what you choose. What do you think of that?

As I wrote I think weight management is based on what you think and what you choose. This is why I work on my thinking with the Beck review of the book "The Beck Diet Solution." It gets me aware of what I'm thinking and how I'm making choices because of my thoughts which I can counter with practice. My biggest sabotaging thought is "I got away with overeating before I'll get away with it this time too," which doesn't work out. I counter with that every calorie counts and too many extra and I'll have to lose the weight I gain.

I agree - Beck tools - addressing thoughts and behaviors and how they are related - has helped me a lot with weight management.
