Today is the day we give ourselves credit for what we did this week and give gratitude.

This week I tracked all seven days, weighed and measured my food, brought the right foods into the house and kept my trigger foods out of the house, and kept up with my support groups. Also, when I went out to breakfast this morning, I only had two pieces of French toast instead of three pieces. I am grateful my husband and I are still healthy. Just today I heard of someone that had Covid.

Credit for staying on my plan for the first few days of the week, for tracking during that time, and for eating healthfully with attention to hunger/satiation/dealing with cravings for those few days. Credit for exercising as much as I was able to 3/7 days.

It's on my mind a lot. I worry if I'm overeating, what to get when I go out to eat, spend time with my online support groups and with my local WW friends, what to make for dinner, what to buy at the grocery store. But some of that stuff I would be doing anyway just with not as much thought.

Weight management is almost always on my mind. It's one of the reasons that I sometimes stop tracking - it just adds more to my constant thinking about food and what I'm eating.

susan092907, I don't seem to think about food a lot. I'll sometimes think ahead to what I'll have when I go out to breakfast with my friend, but I pretty much eat the same stuff every day, so I don't think about that. But I have no food imagination at all so that is probably whay I don't think about food.

My main goal for the week is to keep tracking. Still not doing it in a timely manner. I keep waiting until the end of the day and then feel too tired to do it. Secondary is to pay more attention to my eating. I keep giving myself permission to overeat and it adds up. My me-time is being on the computer and reading. I downloaded a new mystery for my kindle, and I keep forgetting to read it.

My plan for the week is to eat healthfully, per hunger/satiation/dealing with cravings. I'll track as much as I can and I'll exercise as much as I can. bbbearsmom, When I say that I think about food and what I'm eating all the time, it's mostly about how much I'm eating, and when I'm eating, and when I will be eating, and whether or not I'm hungry. I often eat the same foods too, but now I have to cut some of them out for health reasons, so in terms of that I've added whether or not I'm eating healthfully, and whether or not I'm eating within my plan, etc.

My local WW meetings stopped in March of 2023. I haven't bothered to go to another meeting location because they are 40-50 minutes away. I was doing virtual meetings but stopped those last October. Still have free e-tools and am tracking with the app. I meetup with some local WW friends once or twice a month.

Thursday, 04/25 Do you eat planned snacks, or do you wait until you are hungry, or do you “see” food and automatically pop it in your mouth on impulse and call it a snack?

I plan out my food for the day. I have planned snacks, mostly fruit. I don't have any snack foods in the house, so I'm not tempted by them.
