This week is the second biggest holiday in South Korea, Chuseok (Korea Thanksgiving). Traditionally fruit baskets are a popular gift between business ties. But fruit has gotten expensive, so now spam gift sets are also popular. Spam is actually huge in Korea and is used in quite a few Korean dishes, but nobody really likes getting a spam gift set. Luckily my partner got a nice fruit set (he works at a bank). So I’ve been enjoying some nice oranges, kiwis, and grapes. Still not too much of course, trying to pace myself and make it last.
Congratulations to Nancy for BL award last week!
Nancy, that does sound like a nice trip to Memphis. Funny how we never do things where we live. I never went to Graceland in 40 years living there. Until I had a friend come visit from Thailand and we went together.
