sunrose49, wwlurker, Annette, cj59, waving hello to everyone. I'm on point and feeling good. I got out early this morning which is very unusual and difficult for me. So glad I did. My day went so much better. Have a great evening. I'm having a large slice of frozen pizza and veg soup for tonight's dinner.

I haven't had my 1st weigh in yet after my 1st week of WW. I've been away on vacation. I'll be going to my 1st weigh in/meeting on Friday morning. I know everybody is different in their weight loss journey. Just wondering what I might expect to lose my 1st weigh in.

Hello Everyone Celticcapergirl - I haven't done Smart Points, but I seem to remember reading a wide range of first week losses - from 1 pound to 4 or 5 pounds. I'm sure each person is different. Good luck to you, I hope you see a good loss that is motivating to you. In the "olden days" of WW, if you had a lot to lose you could lose up to 10 pounds the first week - I know I did that a few times. It was mostly fluid Annette - I'm happy to hear that you are on point and feeling good. I hope that continues for you. sunrose - It's nice to get our activity done early in the day, isn't it? I try to be done with mine before noon so I don't have to worry about it later in the day. wwlurker - Sorry to hear about the gain, but at least you were prepared for it. And you sound like you know what to work on to get back on track. I keep two 32 ounce cups (that I bought drinks in from a WaWa (like a 7-11)) filled up with cold water in the refridgerator. I make sure to drink at least two filled ones each day so I get my water in. When I was still working I carried 32 ounces of water with me to work and drank that in the morning. Then I made sure to get the other 32 ounces when I came home. I treated myself to a diet soda in the afternoon. I went out to fast food for lunch today and I'm happy to say I ordered what I had planned for and didn't deviate. I've also stayed on track today and got in the rest of my food with not too many weekly points used. I have another fast food lunch tomorrow, but I've already planned what to get for that too, so I hope for another on track day. It's nice to feel back on track, I hope I can keep that feeling going. Take care everyone!

Hi everyone! Just a quick note to let you know I'm around. We have an all-day work event today will likely involve a fair amount of alcohol and not-so-healthy food. I plan on doing the best I can. Yesterday I did fairly well all day but went a little overboard in the evening.

Good afternoon wwlurker, you can do it! Enjoy your day though too. cj59, WTG planning your fast food! When I go to one I usually get a grilled chicken sandwich and side salad. It's fun to eat out. Celticcapergirl, good luck tomorrow. I've seen people lose lots and lose a little, but whatever it is keep going. Plus men lose faster. lol Annette, your dinner sounded yummy. Met my step goal yesterday. Working on today. Trying to track on my phone and stay focused.

3.8 pound loss after my 1st week I am happy with that considering I was on vacation with my daughters for 5 days and did indulge a little but didn't go over by a great deal. So if I follow through diligently this week I'm hoping for a good loss this week too

Hello Everyone Celticcapergirl - Congratulations on the loss, that's a good loss for teh first week - and while being on vacation! sunrose - Hope the step tracking is working for you. I love my FitBit, and where it everyday. wwlurker - Hope things went well today at your work event. Annette - Hope you had a good day. I'm still staying on track, this will be 5 days in a row that I'm on plan, so I'm happy about that. I've loosely figured out the food for the rest of my week (3 more days). I just want to avoid the overeating.

Great loss Celtic. If you register on this site your name will be able to be clicked on so we can tag you. I gained 2 lbs. I know that's from the vacation where I went so far over I didn't bother tracking. Also the week after I had a few bad days. I'm so tired of not losing weight. I'm doing points plus.

Hello everyone! It's been a whirlwind today! I did ok yesterday; not great, but ok. cj59 - WTG with five on-track days. I need to start trying to string together a few of those! sunrose49 - I hope you do well with the tracking! annette - I'm tired of not losing too. I feel like I'm putting in a ton of effort with little results (although I realistically know that I put in a ton of effort, then binge and erase all of the benefits of that effort in a single day or two). @celticcapergirl - that's a great first loss! Good for you! Today has been very hectic; I'm just getting lunch now (about 3 hrs late). I made it to the gym for the first time in forever today. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well Annette - I'm sorry to hear about your struggles with losing weight. It's such a long process for us all and we have to find a way to fit our lives into losing weight - I think that's one of the most difficult things. wwlurker - Glad you made it to the gym today and did finally get lunch. Hope the rest of the day isn't too hectic. sunrose and celticcapergirl - Hope you are having an on plan day. I'm doing well - 6 days on track, so I'm happy. I really want to break the cycle of those overeating days. But I know that realistically I'll have more in the future. Since I'm an emotional eater, it's learning to deal with emotions without using food is the one thing I'll always have to work on. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Good morning everyone! I'm trying hard to get somewhat back on track. I'm doing better - not perfect, but better. cj59 - you're doing so well staying on track. I think you're being very realistic to be prepared for overeating days to come back but to try to minimize them as best you can. That's all we can do, I think. sunrose49 - I think it's good to pick something you want to work on and go with it. I'm at work today I brought my gym clothes but honestly, that's a bit optimistic. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Hello Everyone
sunrose - Hope your evenings are going better - I know you can get where you want to be.
wwlurker - I'm sorry to hear you have to work today - hope you can get out of there early. Good luck with getting to the gym if you can, but I'm sure you want to be home with your family. I'm glad to hear you're doing better too.
Celticcapergirl and Annette - Hope you are both doing well this weekend.
This is Day 8 of what I hope will be another on track day, it's starting to feel more normal again. I'm also fitting in enough food and "treats", so I feel satisfied. I'm trying to think about the week ahead and hopefully can plan some good meals. It really helps that it is Summer when there are so many fresh fruits and vegetables to eat.
I saved up some weekly points to have for the weekend. Even though every day is pretty much the same for me now that I'm retired, I still have that mindset that I want to have some extra food on the weekend. So this has worked for me.
Have a great day!
