This challenge was created five years ago by a few Weight watchers members. We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Success isn’t always measured at the scale. Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas to following the plan.

GOOD MORNING! I decided that spending NYE at the jail was a bad idea and I have time next week so will try to get to movies even if I go solo.(but I can probably get someone) Healthy polish choices? Florida! Zumba! walking with an umbrella! (boy I have done some of that lately!!) muffins without tasting! Nat has snow, yuck.
YES I DID: get Lourdes (new kitty) to the vet yesterday, get to gym, something written on new brief. Stay OP and very short weight workout.
YES I CAN: get back to gym, walk (even with umbrella), cook up some safe chow, check movie schedule.
My NSV (non scale victory, not sure if this thread uses that acronym) was saying no to a dinner that would have been loaded with fat. A friend gave me a gorgeous size 6 outfit that would be perfect for court. I am going to have to say no to some more dinners before I have the guts to try that on.
I am so glad that holidays are almost completely over. Tuesday almost everything gets back to normal. Gym closed tomorrow but back to normal on Monday.
love light blessings and umbrellas, HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE! janet

Good Afternoon, positive e-pals!
Nat - Yay for hitting those exercise goals. Go, girl!! I can see snow in the background! We got another 2" here, keeping it nice and clean-looking but not too much shoveling, yay!
Janet - kudos on the NSV..... I haven't been exercising my "no" muscle lately, LOL. And hug that kitty for me:)
Sally - Bon Voyage! Bring some sunshine back with you☀️
Well, seeing the gal pals was great; however, the Polish food was a challenge. Everything was homemade, fresh, not especially WW friendly....but delicious. Moving on....
Yes I DID: --drag self to WW mtg this a.m. I was going to skip WI, even wore a sweater instead of my lightest wt tech shirt....but decided to bite the bullet and step on the scale. Up only 0.8#....sigh... --buy mostly healthy fixings for NYE dinner...our big indulgence will be some "premium" ice cream (talk about euphemisms....) for dessert --decide to work mostly on my attitude in the New Year
Yes I CAN: --align my actions with my goals --feed my Fitbit, respond to its reminders to move --wind down & get more sleep! Really!!
Happy New Year🎉🍸 Carol

Happy Saturday NY Eve! ***Throwing a load of good Karma to each and every one of you!*** CATCH IT! Another (thankfully) rainy day here in So Cal. Nat, I think you will get snow today or tonight. Chipping ice must be great on the AP's. Having never done it... Are you ready for the crazy people with their new Christmas skis? Janet: Glad you won't spend NYE at the jail. LOL. Enjoy the movies and your sweet new kitten. Way to go on the NSV's! Carol: I like your YES, I CAN....to align your actions with your goals. I think that's on all of our list of TO DO'S. for the New Year. Admiring you for stepping on the scale after Polish food-fest. You've got guts. And you know what they say; no guts, no glory. Sally: Hope you have a nice visit with your DM and the spoil yourself with that spacation. Happy New Year!!!!!! Jan
