100gone, I will copy what the doctor told you in case I need to try it, LOL! that all sounds manageable. I had an EKG in the Fall which was fine, so not worried there, either. Despite the fact I've worn progressives for years, the reading section was never big enough for me, and I wear readers. And back in the day, I had *piano reading glasses* which thankfully still worked when I started playing again this Fall; my prescription hasn't changed since I had cataract surgery. @ hpeterson1951, That is fantastic news about your kidney stone! daximus So good to get your report! I think because I had regained 100 pounds once and 80 pounds another time, I was ready to accept that I was going to have to continue to work a program to be successful. Thanks for what you shared DebDoesWW and linda72.

Heather that is wonderful news!!! *cracking up at WW poser!* π *files your statement of intent at the courthouse so it is official* we are all here for you! 100gone *fingers crossesd* I hope that all helps π daximus great job!! linda72 I love what you said to Dax, it is all about getting across the lake, doesn't matter how you get there! Exactly ksbruns , quitting the program only gets you back here with a large amount to lose later. Sticking with it and getting right back on track, even when it is the last thing in the world you want to do, is how to work the program. Just.Keep.Going.

When's the last time anyone heard a doctor say THAT. But I don't think he meant potato chips.
There are a few small ones in my kidney, so I need to go in for a check up. But I'm doing well now. Glad it worked out. Guess the stone couldn't stand up to the intense pressure of this group's willpower!
Having gone through the entire thread again just now, I have to say: am I the ONLY one wearing TRIfocals??? I feel so flawed.
Oh...and when even three different power lens segments aren't enough, I have the wonderful Magnifier feature on my iPhone that Apple added to the last major update of iOS. You will see me around town in grocery stores using the Magnifier to look at the teeny weeny obscure NI that some companys put on their foods!

zazzles, I wear progressive trifocals and love them. I wore contacts for years, one lens was for distance and the other was for close up. Those worked well for me but after I retired I switched to wearing glasses. When the time comes for cataract surgery I will probably lose the glasses for good. Some of my friends have done that and I'm hoping I can get implanted lenses to replace the glasses.

DebDoesWW It only took me 36 years to figure it out, LOL...so I do get it. What has been different for me in the past 5 years is that by not struggling so, accepting that I overdid, and as you said, pulling it in the next time I put food in my mouth, it actually got easier and the over-indulging is less frequent. π£π£π£ And zazzles, my progressives are trifocals! Don't be thinking you are too special! π
