Hi everyone, Still tracking here and making healthy choices.
Went to staples to make my new tracker (I make my own with little icons for the GHG's) and they were able to make it the size I wanted. But could not hole punch it to the size of the mini binder they sold. I was rather annoyed at that. So now I'm going to have to see if my hole punches are adjustable, or if I have to use a single punch. That will be fun!
ale8oneboy- my name is my first initial and last name with the last digits of my phone number. When I had to get my very first smart phone I had to come up with a google email that had numbers in it for the phone. The salesman recommended this so I didn't forget it, since it was tied to my phone. Works well

Good morning (still morning here). I just started using a grocery shopping service called Shipt and so far it is amazing. They do all your grocery shopping and deliver it to your door. I am a big fan of online grocery shopping but always hated the p/u part. (I HATE GROCERY SHOPPING). So I'm looking forward to seeing how this all plays. They text you from the store if items are not available and offer several substitutions. The only difference is they charge just a little more for the items, which to me only is made up in saving me time and gas money going to the store. So...that is all for my morning!! Have a great day everyone!

Checking in after an "iffy" morning... I was "iffy" about going to the pool since I have the 'noise' in my head which is precursor to headache but as yet no head pain... So I decided to move along and so far managed to get in an Ai Chi class (I do so love it!) and Warm Water Aerobics (still don't have the stamina for faster paced class) AND I got to the grocery store for some needed items (mostly veggies So far so good ( although the dang noise is still there...) dina... Where are you that you are near Narragansett Bay? ale8oneboy...Welcome! and where are you that you mention Buzzard's Bay??? (I grew up on Cape Cod so that is a very familiar Bay!!) My name is a combo of my initials PB and my state NJ and yeah... you can call me peanutbutternjelly! hpeterson1951 Just 'remembered' that I 'forgot' to get the ginger root!! Two days in a row of completed tracking---yeah!!! LOL

pbnj , Many years ago while on a school trip. We were visiting New Bedford to take a ferry boat ride. We were under the impression that we were suppose to go to Nantucket. However due to some miss-communication with the tour company we ended up on Cuttyhunk Island instead. We received some interesting looks from the locals. They did not get tourist visitors often. The island mainly had a working pier and retirement community. But everyone was very welcoming. One lady even offered my dad a ride on her golf cart (he had just received a knee replacement a few years before). A local fishermen showed us how to clean fish. We bought the deli out of lunch meat. They weren't prepared to feed 50+ people. lol. A very memorable short day trip.

Afternoon all.Welcome to furrville2 and ale8oneboy.Always happy to have new members. I did a little shorter walk this morning.Already hot and humid at the time & knew we had grocery shopping to do so I knew I would get more active minutes in and I did.I hope to get some inside cycling done later because hopefully we are expecting rain showers.Besides it's already 95 and a ton of humidity plus mold equals no good for allergies. My screen name is pretty basic.I was born in Texas.I just won't say what year so you all or should I say y'all won't laugh at me.

LOL My dad used to catch many stripers (striped bass) off the areas around there!!

PBNJ- we are in this together! I've got two days of tracking and healthy eating in. I even have done a little bit of exercise, not enough to register on my fitbit, but it's something.

OK-now for confession time! Warning that this might be long, and slightly gross to some people.
Awhile ago someone posted an article about binge eating. I didn't think it applied too much to me, but I'm beginning to question that.
I do tend to eat certain things in hiding, never tell anyone, feel guilty or grossed out when I'm done and don't really know why I do it. I've done it since I was a kid.
But I binge on really weird and gross thing. Beware- this is not your usual binge food!
When I'm cooking I will often eat the ingredients-like raw hamburger (LOVE IT), the fat that I've trimmed off steak or chicken. When I'm breading something I'll mix leftover breading and egg and eat that. I warned you it was gross! I caught myself the other day eating shake and bake with egg! Today I ate the bone marrow (actually quite tasty) out of a ham steak we cooked before I called my DH in for supper.
I haven't even told Rick about this, but I'm confessing it here in case anyone else is brave enough to admit they do this.
I'm not sure if I want you to tell me it's OK and I'll get through it, or that I'm totally nuts and need to get some serious help.
Anyone else have really bizarre binge eating?
Anyone have any ideas to help?
