haha oh that's right! DJWAYNE i think! i am mostly leaning towards the theory that he was a troll. He could have been a troll but I just think this was the first time he ever tried to do anything about his weight. He knew nothing at all about nutrition. He was, however, telling us all to eat tilapia after his WW leader said it was really good. I'm not dissing tilapia because I eat it, but I don't eat it all the time.

that's right! his tilapia obsession! i had forgotten about that.
i tried eating tilapia and i just don't like the flavor. i'd rather go with salmon, cod, or sea bass if i'm going to have fish at all.

pbnj, fun times, Pat! Hope the doctor appointment went okay for you. If not, Gwenth might have some suggestions for your headaches...

haha oh that's right! DJWAYNE i think! i am mostly leaning towards the theory that he was a troll. I don't think he was a troll, just an a-hole. He came to the boards for the right reasons, but then discovered that it was more fun to rile up the womminfolk. Larry was the other one, but I think he confined himself to the Newbie Board. Shame of it was that if they could have stopped acting like jerks for 5 minutes, they really could have learned a lot from us. People genuinely wanted to help, but it just got too stupid and hard.

linda72, I'm thinking about that herbal scented steam and those eggs sound mighty in-ter-rest-ing... Sure could take the mind off a headache...

pbnj , but who thinks up these things? I doubt Gwenth has actually tried these ideas. Crazy!

Didn't one of those guys start a whole cheeseball discussion?
I wouldn't be surprised if Gwenth did try some of these things. People will do odd things when they have the money to blow and people convince them it's for their health/beauty.
Do you when remember Kristi Alley kept an oxygen bottle with her a few years ago? There was this whole thing about pure oxygen.

I remember the cheeseball discussion. He was also into Smart Ones. I thought his name was Larry.

Wha? You mean I can't just eat nothing all day and down whoppers after work and lose weight? You can do anything you want on SmartPoints. You can even eat (shock) BREAD!
Listen. Listen to Oprah. No foods are prohibited. And you can eat bread EVERY.DAY!Disclosure: Under the doctrine of everything old is new again, I feel the need to mention that the original WW program members to eat bread—two slices for women and four slices for men.

Remember Chook from Australia telling us about an Australia WW initiative (very short-lived) where WW would give activity points for sex. Better sex was supposed to improve weight loss. There were going to be WW lesson plans and discussion guides to enhance WW members' knowledge in this area. The idea died in flames. She even gave us a link to the commercial that rolled out on Australian television.
How long before we see jade eggs sold in WW centers?
