Good Sunday afternoon!! Hope everyone is having a great day!! Hubby and I did our grocery shopping for the week at Wally World with the slowest cashier on the planet. So, now we are getting ready to make our meals for the week. So far we have done veggies, and cut up our fruit and put them in containers. We bought a FoodSaver last week and it is really awesome! Oh...right now the heat index is only 107, lol!! Have a great day!!

i keep my windows open all day and night these days. i only close them for the short time that i put the A/C on (i have the thermostat set to 82). i could not even imagine living in a place with high humidity! los angeles levels of humidity is all i can stand, which is pretty low. i have been to NYC quite a few times but only three of the times were in the summer. my hair cannot handle it. the day we flew in my hair went from normal to poodle the moment i stepped out of the airport. i had to put so much antifrizz serum in it to make it practically greased down for it to actually look decent and not poodle itself out.

Good afternoon all.
Back from a 250-mile road trip to Occidental, CA where I had lunch (Minnestrone soup & Caesar salad, dressing on the side—hows that for dedication to program).
I came back by way of San Francisco and thought of all the heat suffers when I crossed the Golden Gate Bridge in fairly dense fog. If I could can it, I'd send some to each of you—and keep a whole lot for myself!

100gone,I hope you feel better soon and can find out what's wrong. sullicat1,I hope Oliver Twisted gets over whatever he has. No open windows here. The high was 102,we got a few drops of rain the hottest part of the day(we call them heat showers)and now it's steamy when you walk outside.I'm beginning to think Scooter likes the hot days bc she gets to spend the afternoon inside. I walked at 8:30 before it got too hot(still in the 80's but with a good breeze),went to church, ate lunch out and hit the stationary bike this afternoon.Tomorrow we will go grocery shopping.
