Hello Everyone - Hope you are doing well today and on your plans Annette - I'm doing the Classic Points (WW Momentum) plan. I like it because I just have to use Calories, Fat and Fiber for my points calculations, and also I can have sweets. I also try to follow most of the Good Health Guidelines that WW used to have. I think Smart Points is a good plan for those who want to get in protein and also limit sugar. I'm glad to hear you are doing well on it. wwlurker - Hope you made it through the meals today - it's really difficult to make choices when you have no control over the food. I'm sure you'll do the best you can. And I understand how hard it is to make the right choice at a place like Dairy Queen. The last few times I've been there I really wanted a Blizzard, but stuck to the small Strawberry Sundae because it is less points. But I really wanted something else I'm doing pretty well today and staying on track. I'll be eating out tomorrow, but I've saved some weekly points to use in case I need them. I'm hoping I'll make good choices.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well this weekend sunrose - Hope you had a nice time with your friend. I'm doing well and staying on track this weekend. I've planned out my food for today and I'll have used all my weekly points and activity points this week. I'm interested to see what my weight is tomorrow morning when I do my weekly weigh-in. I've weighed a few times this week and have stayed the same, so maybe my body is over all those wild weight swings. I hope so, I'd really like something more steady.

Good morning everyone!
Dinner on Friday was a bust. It was from a local place that is not vegetarian friendly so there was very little (nothing) for me to eat other than a couple of side salads, all of which were literally dripping with dressing (coleslaw, potato and garden) and junk food.
I continued the debauchery all weekend. Overall, I had a great weekend, but I need to get back onto a schedule of some sort. In particular, I need to get more sleep. I'm naturally a night owl, but it doesn't work with my life right now. Last night it was lights out before 11:15, which is amazing for me.
I'm switching my tracking week to start on Mondays for the time being. I always think of Monday as the start of the week, so I may as well keep my tracker to correspond with that.
I'm feeling ready to start exercising this week as long as I can find the time.
Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Good morning
cj59, sounds like you are doing good! I stay away from DQ. My sister eats there sometimes with her grandsons.
Waving to all
I was so bad when I was away. The scale is up about 3 pounds. Not good, but getting back on track today. I am off to the TM.

wwlurker ,I do Monday's too. I just started. Big announcement. I threw out my broken, ancient, non digital scale and for now I'm not buying a new one. The scale ruins my motivation. I'm on antidepressants and can't seem to lose much.

Annette, good for you regarding the dumping of the scale! I have to admit I weigh daily. I have for about 35+ years now.
wwlurker, so you are a vegetarian? If so, that does make it hard when you go to things like you did the other night. I think anyway??? I track from Tuesday to Monday. I think of Monday also as the beginning of the week.
cj59, how are you doing?
Attended a WW meeting this morning. Had a small gain, which I expected after the couple days with my friend. Now to get it off!

sunrose49,there were times in my life when I weighed myself several times a day. Drove myself crazy. Love the program. Hate the scale. I will go to my doc in a month and weigh myself there.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well wwlurker - I start my week on Mondays too, it helps me from overeating much on the weekend, which was always a habit for me. Hope your week is going well so far. sunrose - I'm sure you'll be able to get that vacation weight off. Annette - I think you're smart to try not weighing for awhile. I think we all get obsessed with the number on the scale when eating right, exercising and feeling strong are just as good indicators that we're doing well. I hope this works for you. I weighed in yesterday and stayed the same weight from last week. This was just what I wanted, because I've been having so many large weight swings from week to week. So what did I do when I had this success - overate all day!! I couldn't believe it, and was just out of control. I'm really struggling with Maintenance, it's just not easy. I did a Beck Diet Solution review last year on the GDT board and they are doing one again now so I'm going to read along. I've been posting credits over there since last year and I'll continue to do that, and I'm hoping the review again will reinforce some of the good habits and get rid of some of my negative thinking. I'm feeling back on track today and plan to stick to daily points for the rest of the week, because I sure ate all my weekly points yesterday

cj59, I know what you mean. I will overeat whether I get good news or bad news from the scale. Now that I'm not weighing myself and beating myself up with that....I noticed that my eyelids are hooded. A sign of aging. Ugh.

Good afternoon
cj59, that's great you stayed the same. I agree maintenance is not easy. You seem to be doing good though ;-)
Annette, I know what you mean about weighing several times a day. I sometimes weigh before going to bed. I am going to stop that one.
Waving to all.
Met a friend for a 2 mile walk this morning on the towpath. It was nice to get it over early. Drinking my water and working on tracking (my downfall).

Hello! My name is Kathy and I just joined WW yesterday and am anxious to make this work. I have alot of weight to loose and I need to loose this weight so that I can become healthy and stop taking all these medications! I am 45 years old, I am on Metformin for diabetes, I take a pill for HP, and I take a pill to help me sleep at night. I am tired of feeling like this and I just want to get healthy and not get worse. I don't do too good with the tracking of my foods but I am really trying to make this work. I would love any support and ideas and even any thoughts of what works for you.
Thanks SW 250 CW 243 GW 150

Hello Everyone - Hope you all doing well today Annette - I'm joining you with the aging process And I hate to tell you this, but I found that once I've lost all the weight I wanted to I looked even older because I didn't have the fat on my body to plump me up! Hang in there and I hope the not weighing will really work well for you. sunrose - Glad you enjoyed the walk and I hope you can get back on "track" with tracking. I know that I have to track every day, I can't stop or I will fail. Hello fairchildk - Welcome to our thread, we're always happy to have more posters here so we can support each other. I've lost over 150 pounds (using the old WW Momentum/Classic Points program), and for the first time in my life am on Maintenance and as you can see from some of my posts it's a struggle. I don't know why I thought it would be easy I hope you enjoy Smart Points, lots of people on this board are on that program (including Lifetimers), so I'm sure you'll get a lot of support that way. wwlurker - Hope you are doing well. I'm doing well and stayed on track yesterday and have today so far too. I've planned my meals through Friday, so that helps me not to make bad choices.
