Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well and sticking to your plans wwlurker - I'm glad to hear you are doing well and feeing good. I can't imagine trying to lose weight, work full time and take care of a family. I hope you give yourself a lot of credit for sticking to this. I'm doing pretty well today. I went grocery shopping and managed not to buy any junk food. I also ate a fast food lunch and stuck to what I had planned to have. I'm hoping for 4 more good days this week so I can see if I need to adjust my points.

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone has a great day! So I am really having a hard time tracking :-( know I should, but I just plain forget. I have to track med, glucose, and weight--so my mind just shuts down! I know I am eating less than I was---my glucose numbers have all been under 200 since starting WW and the scale is moving down (slow but down). I guess I just need to focus on 1 thing at a time. In the past I did low carb (and it worked) it was easy and I did not have to track -- I wish WW had a plan similar to that? Any ideas?

wwlurker, sounds like you are doing good also. It's hard sometimes finding that balance.
fairchildk, hope you like the daily burn. I walk early if I can.
Met two friends on the towpath this morning. We are all going to do the c25k app. I'm really looking forward to that.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today Fairchild - I've never done a low carb diet, but I see a lot of people doing those. Have you checked the message boards at My Fitness Pal or Lose It? There might be some information on the plans there. Also over at the GDT message board - newgdt.proboards.com/ - there's a subform on the General Discussion thread that has people that talk about being on a Low Carb High Fat (LCHF)diet - they chat every day and you might find some information there. Hope you can find something that works for you. Tracking - There are so many automated tracking choices now but I'm old fashioned and I still write mine down using pen and paper. It really makes me think about what I'm eating when I have to do that. sunrose - What is the c25K? It's sounds like it will be good exercise and how nice that you have friends to do it with. I'm doing pretty well today. I've worked out my meals and hope to stick to them. Then just 3 more days this week to see how I do with a "good" week.

Good morning everyone! cj59 - thank you for your kinds words. I tend to be very hard on myself. I do have a lot on my plate right now so I'm trying to be a bit kinder to myself and worry less about my eating. sunrose49 - I've never done C25k but would love to get back into running. I used to run almost every day. I loved it. fairchildk - I'm glad that the scale is moving for you. WW does have a "no count" version where you eat to satisfaction from a designated list and anything not on that list counts towards your weekly or fit points. I managed to get to the gym yesterday, but an impromptu conference call this morning thwarted my efforts for today. Tonight, instead of family movie night, we are going to a local nature park to walk the trails and do some geocaching. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Good morning cj59, you are doing great! I think it helps to plan meals. I pretty much eat the same thing for breakfast everyday, lunch changes a bit, but dinner pretty much goes astray. C25K is short for couch to 5K. I use to run (was never fast), I'm trying to get back into it. wwlurker, what a fun evening with your family!! WTG on getting to the gym yesterday, too bad about the call this morning Waving to all. I got 15,247 steps in yesterday. Will work to meet my 10K goal today. Had to skip the towpath this morning (bad stomach).

Good Morning everyone!!! I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday :-) The weather today is great here in NC so I am planning on walking during my lunch hour today!!! I got on the scale this morning and so excited!! I am down some more!!!! I weigh myself more than one a week, but it helps me to stay on track and not wander ;-)

wwlurker - I understand about being hard on yourself, I'm really tough on myself and have to constantly work at being kinder. Your evening family hike sounds great, I hope you have a wonderful time.
sunrose - Congratulations on all those steps! Hope you are feeling better this afternoon.
Fairchild - Congratulations on the continued loss. I hope you enjoyed your lunchtime walk.
I'm doing pretty well today, but fighting a desire to overeat. I went shopping today and passed on donuts and cupcakes.
I picked up the donut box and a bag a few times, but put it back down because I knew I didn't need to bring them into the house.
I did end up buying a small single size pack of M&Ms, that I'll eat over the next 3 days. I also bought a smaller back of chips that I'll portion out too. I can fit these into my points, so they were better choices for snacks.
I just have to keep fighting the overeating/bingeing desires and stick to my plan.

I got 7,294 steps in yesterday. My stomach was fine later in the morning, but just was a lazy girl the rest of the day. The weather is perfect this weekend, so I will hit the towpath both days.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today I'm doing my best to stay on track today. I shouldn't have bought those chips because I really want to open the bag and eat every one of them! I'm trying to portion them out, so hopefully I'll be strong enough to do that. At least I'm getting in my exercise and fluids and have my meals planned for the day, so that helps me to keep to the plan.

Good morning everyone! Happy Monday!!! I feel great this morning as far as my food and my body feels!!! My scale put me at 240 this morning---but on Saturday I got my new WW scale that I got for free for signing up!! so I will take it.... When went to my doctor on 8/14/17 I was 245.8 lbs; when I went in July I was 247---so I am going in the right direction!!! As so as of today - 8/28/17 I will claim my new number as 240.7 :-)

Hello Everyone Fairchild - Congratulations on feeling good and doing well on your program, you sound like you're in the right place for success sunrose - I'm glad you enjoyed the WW meeting, hope you met your step goal today. For my snacks I usually leave them in the big bag and then just portion them out when I'm eating them. I had a rough day yesterday and overate and was completely off program. I had weighed myself and saw that I was up a few pounds and it just set me off. I need to get over being affected by the number on the scale. I wonder if I could stay on track and not weigh every week, but I'm not sure. I'm feeling stronger today, but I wish I could stop those overeating days. I find that I'm really not even enjoying most of the food I was eating and that's pretty sad. I don't know if I'm going to be able to have some foods in my house, because when I feel out of control I just eat all of them. I'm going to try some different things this week and try to stay within my daily and weekly points. I'm not going to use my Activity Points, I was just using them to eat a bunch of junk anyway. Hope anyone else checking in is doing well on their plan.
