Morning all! Morning walk in with rather nice 68 temperatures and blue skies (walkntalk buddy available!). Really helps the sciatica to keep moving! Later this morning is some pool time then off for a haircut and color---not sure it needs color so soon, working on figuring out scheduling with stylist. And it IS so much better to have someone else do it!! The scale is driving me INSANE. I'm tracking... getting my blue dots, eating lots of veggies, even had fish last night, no junk food (such fun watching hubby scarf down his doughnut!!) and the *&*#^%& scale is UP another pound. It is getting on my last nerve! But I trudge onward! Have a great day!!

pbnj, it's so frustrating when the scale doesn't do what we think it should! Are you getting your GHG's in? Especially the healthy oils? I swear it was the dumbest thing WW did to get rid of those (or at least the tracking of them). Hang in there! I'm sure today will be another crazy day at work! I'm ready for the semester to get started so things will slow down a little (HAHAHAHA)! I was walking to dogs last night and Belle was being a snot and running in circles around Oakie. She got tangled in her leash (it's a retractable one) then tangled with Oakie and in all of the craziness trying to untangle and get them apart, I DROPPED HER LEASH! THANK GOD I had it locked (it's a retractable leash) and it was out pretty far. I was able to get to the leash and step on it before she to far from me! OMG my heart was racing!! Poor Oakie got dragged along as I was going after her! I have my WI later today. I THINK I'm back on track and recovered from my vacation! We shall see! I'll report back later! I hope you all have a GREAT day!

Morning Neen & Pat & atf.
Beautiful day here, cooler & sunny & at the moment, no humidity.
Going to meet a friend this morning for a veggie pick up from her garden. Can't wait till she has tomatoes. And I'm getting a little sick of zucchini as I don't even like it that much. Seems like everyone that has a garden has an over abundance of zucchini. But she has the best tomatoes in the land! š Then I'll run a few errands and hang out at the Ponderosa for the day.
Have a good one.

Hi all, Neen- I love your dog stories. They are just great.
I had a great time last night with my friends and past co-workers at our "dip dinner". We must have had about 6 different dips and we just grazed for hours. I'm not even stepping on the scale today, and I'm OK with that.
I got to try 12 year old Chivas Regal Scotch last night also. YUMMY! My friend had some that she keeps when her brother visits on Easter.
Easy day today- dropping off library books, picking up medicine at pharmacy, and doing some school paperwork

Good morning all. And it IS so much better to have someone else do it!! It really is! I'm getting my hair cut and colored Saturday - can't wait. sullicat1, good luck with the zucchini Speaking of gardens, I'm growing peppers and cucumbers this year. I bought mild banana pepper plants and have been eating them on salads, sauteed with zucchini, etc. Somehow one of them was super hot - so hot that it burned your mouth and hands. How did my pepper plant morph into something else? It's so weird! Just a regular work day today and I'm working from home tomorrow which is nice. Hope everyone has a good day!

When was the last time you talked with your doctor PBNJ? I totally agree Neen that getting rid of the GHG was a bonehead move by WW. Multiple pets are highly amusing in action. Nothing better than fresh picked tomatoes Sulli Hi Dina, 100, Deb, Linda Heather ā Sounds like fun for all. Iām a Glenlivet or Glenfiddich gal myself. Happy birthday Linda72 KOKO type of day. Working with a paper tracker for the first time ever. New leader wants us each to take a turn logging a week in the 3 month planner and I got volunteered first. Gotta love my meeting friends. LOL

Good morning all!! Happy Thursday! One more day till the weekend!! Today is my injection day for my RA meds and I can't get over how easy it is to give my self a shot. I was so worried when they told me I would need injections & would be doing them myself. But, I'm an old pro now. Have been taking them since April and all I can say is it is a miracle drug!! It actually does not hurt at all. I can barely feel the needle going in my thigh! Anyone w/ RA this is a great med. The only thing I worry about is side effects there are so many. I got a sinus infection in July & had to go to the Dr because of this med to get a chest Xray because infections can cause pneumonia. I haven't been to the Dr for a cold, flu, sinus infection, etc in two years and w/ in 2 months of taking meds I have to go. This is new for me. If I am taking an antibiotic I can't take my shot and it has to be moved until after the antibiotic is done. So...that is the down side, but me feeling better and being able to walk, and go, is much more important right now.
Anyway, I have rambled on for no reason!! Have a great day everyone!!!

Dina, the burger was awful. It was very fishy & no amount of tartar sauce was getting rid if that taste.. I intend to say something when I go back to the store. I know mahi mahi is NOT fishy

Oh know! sullicat1, I am sorry to hear that. I am glad you are going to say something since that is definitely not how they should taste.

Furrville-are you on Methotrexate? If not which med is it? I take Methotrexate shots once a week for my RA. I think it's been about 3-4 years now. I was SO scared of giving myself a shot- I don't even look when I get a shot or blood drawn. I thought it was going to be one of those pens, so it wouldn't be too bad. Then realized it was a real syringe with a bottle of meds, the whole bit. I had a true temper tantrum freak out! But your right, it really doesn't hurt at all. Once in a while I might do something weird and it will be a little tiny stick, but 95% of the time I don't feel anything. I actually learned to do it in my lower belly as well as my thigh. Believe it or not the lower belly is easier. I NEVER thought I'd be able to do that. I'm glad it's working for you. furrville2
