Morning all.
Will be getting myself together and out of the house shortly. Just finishing my 2nd cuppa.
Weird weather today. Completely clouded over with rain and thunderstorms inland but nothing here so far. It is just after 8 AM and already 77°. Very atypical summer weather for this area.
I have counseling this morning and then debating whether I want to go work in the classroom, come home and take a nap, or do a little retail therapy at a local consignment store. I'm another vote for the retail therapy if that helps with the depression. Give yourself some "attagirls" for considering any kind of therapy that doesn't involve food!
We bough a new freezer that is in our garage so I'll be ready to fill it up with goodies.
Congrats on the new FoodSaver and freezer. They make a great combo. I'm sure you know to label and date everything. You may find it help to make a written inventory of everything that goes into the freezer with it's date. It is pretty common for freezer inventory to grow over time and things to get buried. A written inventory helps you know what is there that needs to be used and, occasionally, go on a treasure hunt to find where an item got buried. Voice of experience here!

Counseling was good. Got some tough love on not taking care of myself and trying to be superwoman. She helped me see I'm an all or nothing gal with some compulsions and that doesn't help the body. Everything I did at MIL house was almost self-harming. Unfortunately, the retail therapy didn't go so well. Went to a local consignment shop I love. Nothing really caught my eye. Found myself tempted to buy something just to buy it- but I didn't love it. So I stopped. The new rule is if I don't really love it I'm not taking it home to make clutter. So I'm at school- for only an hour. That is my counselor's rule. She said there was no reason I could not go in today but I did not need to do the 6-7 hours she knew I would do. Smart woman! So I'm out of here shortly- Then may go to Ulta to try the retail therapy again. Can always find something I "need" in there, even if it's just a new headband The pick up my husband's BP meds and home to rest and pack to go back to for more cleaning this weekend

The sun is shining and we have a fun lunch with mom planned. All will be tracked and I'll be focused on staying in my healthy range and aiming for blue. Have a great day everyone!

Stayed at school for just an hour. Went to Ulta-you know your in a funk when you really can't find anything there! I did find two headbands and some concealer on sale and had a $3 coupon. So I was really happy that I saved money and bought myself a little treat.
Went to pick up DH meds and they weren't ready. Got home and about 5 minutes later got the call they were ready! Now waiting for a storm to pass so I can go back out and get them.
All packed up though and ready to go back north.

hpeterson1951, little rewards always help! @dazzles, I never did an inventory, thanks for the tip. linda72, have to get a routine going for body pump. Today I started at the Child Cancer Fund (CCF). Did a little inventory, data management, getting a calender and email set up and getting our tote bags ready for new patients, like a goody bag. As I was leaving, I told my boss how fun this was, no stress! 4 more work days till I retire!

4 more work days till I retire! Yea, Linda. You will love retirement! (although it sounds like you'll still be doing a lot. That's helpful to have other things planned.)

Late check in today.
I worked from home today, made pasta salad for dinner, and that's about it! I didn't sleep well the past few nights so I'm dragging. But I'm happy it's Friday.
TGIF!

zazzles, it is funny you say that. I right everything in a notebook, and there are areas on the bags for dates and description so I use as Sharpie to mark it with contents, weight and date.
