I'm IN.
And heading to my August voucher retrieval at the 8:30 AM WW meeting.
The scale will be up from my last weigh-in; that's what pizza & Chinese food on Thursday will do to me. But that's OK - I'll still earn my voucher
Have a healthy-eating day, all!

I'm here... grouchy... not going to meeting to get my voucher because I will throw a tantrum and get thrown out. How can I be so good and the scale not reward me? Blah!!!
Have a nice day!

Good morning
Two cups down and contemplating the chores that await. I have an alarming amount of laundry.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning.
I'm sitting on my deck having coffee. It's cloudy but I'll take it. I'm going to get my hair cut and colored later - takes about 3 hours!
I've also got loads of laundry to do, not to mention those chores! Other than that, just a relaxing day.
Happy Saturday everyone!

Good morning! Happy Saturday!!! It is a cool 64 here which is great but kinda insane at the same time. Last year on this date the heat index was 117 so this if for sure a change of pace. Having the windows and doors open in August surely is not something we do in the south!! LOL!! So, I have to rearrange my pantry today. I buy in bulk and it is a hot mess in there....can't find anything or have to move so much stuff out of the way I give up! I have bought all kinds of organizers because I get OCD about things sometimes. That is why when it looks a hot mess, I close the door and try not to think about it. But with my RA I have had to put off doing it, but now that I'm feeling better it's time to tackle this! So hopefully today will be the day that I get it all sorted and in containers and holder and various other things. I have a problem with organizers...like baskets, drawers, totes...all those kinds of things. I could spend so much money on containers if my husband would let me, lol! My cabinet all have containers, that are glass or a solid clear plastic, and some even mason jars with chalk board labels all w/ what is inside, some with instructions on the back w/ another chalk board label, lol!! I have no "bottles" like oils comes in or vinegar, they all have there on special container. I'm telling you...OCD. hehe!!
Well, once again, I have rattled on and on ....oh...yesterday it took me two hours to sort all the different meats I purchased but the FreshSaver was so excited!! Later y'all!!

Morning everyone! ksbruns, that's a lot of steps. I'm glad you're enjoying NYC. The heat is on. I worked in the yard for 2 hours yesterday (at noon!) and was completely drenched from the heat/humidity. But, it must have done something because my weight dropped "into the zone" so I went to a WW meeting and got my voucher. I'm good until 9/2021 so I hope WW doesn't drop free vouchers! pbnj, I feel your frustrations with the scale; my scale doesn't make sense to me most days. Hang in there! We are going out to eat with DD and her family to our favorite Italian restaurant. We love exposing DGKs to nice restaurants and they are both good eaters and willing to try "adult" foods (think oysters, crabs, all kinds of fish, gumbos, etc.) The only complication is DGD10 has celiacs so we have to talk with the chef to get gluten free foods for her. It will be a fun night and we'll celebrate my birthday.

Good morning everyone.
..Kathy, I know what you're talking about in NYC. I'm 90 miles north in the Hudson Valley & it is mad humid. Don't know how you Texans deal. A hat tip to you all!
Nothing much on the agenda. I've been 4 days now MP (my program as opposed to OP) & I already feel so much better physically & mentally, especially mentally. Not much I can do about the breathing issues in this humidity but stay inside with the ac. I do need to stake another tomato plant but think I'll wait till early morning tomorrow. Meanwhile I bought some Jersey tomatoes yesterday but they don't look all that great, will have to taste first to see if they're worthy of squishy white bread & mayo 😋. So weird to buy white bread but to me that's what a tomato sandwich needs!
Have a great day

sullicat1 , one of my favorite sandwiches: white bread (I know it's yucky but necessary for a BLT), bacon, home grown tomatoes, lettuce & mayo. Yummy but the critical ingredient is a delicious tomato. ETA: and I like to add a few leaves of fresh basil; really nice!

Got Zumba in, ran some errands and making the skinny taste grilled chicken with balsamic veggies tonight. DebDoesWW, it seems surreal after working for 40 years¡

lmenglish, I didn't see your tag yesterday but just cracked up at "@dazzles!" I'll be counting down the last 4 days with you. Hope you're not nervous waiting.
The weather today was more decent. I got out for a drive midway to San Francisco. I checked out an area library's used book nook and bought a couple of cookbooks—oops, I'm not supposed to be expanding my collection! Well, at least they aren't thick cookbooks.
Lunch was at an independent fast-food burger joint where I ate lunch while watching a lot of police action across the street. The cops were in and out of the restaurant, but they weren't talking about what was going on. It made me think how desensitized to crime we've become as a society that those of there could sit in a restaurant and casually eat lunch while knowing some drama was going on across the street.
Well now it is time to watch some episodes of Monk. I made a decaf latte as a precursor to dinner. sullicat1 has me think that it will be a Tomato sandwich—only I do mine on toasted Sourdough (it's better for the blood sugar).

Thanks for the props, linda72 and DebDoesWW, it's been fantastic, and sullicat1, the humidity lifted late this afternoon....hope it did for you, too. I LOVE *MP* because I think we just have to find something that works for us. In case I don't make it in the AM, wanted to send best thoughts to 100gone and the MRI!
