Naomi – That is so scary. It’s certainly understandable that you are upset. Sending prayers for healing to both you and Trigger.
Saw A Bronx Tale for the first time last night. What a great movie! Today will depend on the snow. I am about to leave for an earlier weight class as the snow is in the air. I have to take Charlie to the vet at 10 for his presurgical blood work. I’m hoping the snow is light until then. As for my locked room plans, we’ll see what we get. They are talking 3 – 6” with isolated higher. It’s not the number, it’s the wind because I am in a wind tunnel and the drifts can be a problem. Well, at least it’s a Saturday. Oh, and for the first time, the town is doing our snow removal instead of private removal. Who knows how long we will have to wait or how good a job they will do. I have more than half of last night's dinner left, so that will be lunch. Dinner remains up in the air but if we cancel our plans I have plenty in the house so no worry.
LaDonna - I too plan to piddle around with this weather.

Susi, hope the snow is good to you and Charlie's preop prep goes well. That's great that your town is doing the snow removal.

Naomi..... sending you a big, warm hug Cannot imagine what you are experiencing! So very sorry that the pain medication had drastic consequences. I am with you, having that loopy- dopy feeling would have had me calling the dr or pharmacist. Glad that specialists were able to quickly work you into their schedules. At least you have a starting point now, but two months is a long time to have that constant pain wearing you down & worrying you. More hugs & prayers.

Am being active w/ chores for now. The swelling in my left foot & twinge in my left knee is almost-- but not completely gone. So I am trying to be cautious, but active. I have a tendency to push my body too much, so I am chomping at the bit a little. Not easy, but smart.

Susi- saw the natl. weather forecast-- that storm system appears pretty active & widespread. Hope that your city crews clear your streets as quickly as the private contractors did. Drifting snow just makes a snow day worse! Poor Charlie--another winter surgery. I obviously missed the cause while on vacation. Hope that your early morning activities went off without a hitch. Be safe as you deal w/ the weather conditions. You probably have more amazing foods or can whip up a more amazing recipe than most restaurants offer.

Ann--I joined you in the sleepyhead & ghgs ranks. Slept in and then chose to enjoy a few extra minutes just enjoying the coziness & warmth. Simple pleasures.

LaDonna-- it's great, isn't it, to have your head in the right place to take off the weight in a healthy way and feel good?  Hot coffee, soup, toasted cheese sandwiches.... bring on warm beverages and food!

Naomi, my mom had something like that and I can't remember what helped her. The pharmacist is our best friend for explaining the effects of medication. I hope you get relief.

La Donna, Pam, June, Bee have and everyone I've mentioned stay warm and safe this weekend. I need to go have breakfast. Woke up with a headache but Excedrin Migraine did the trick. June, I forgot to mention but Leo, my 4 year old grandson, is coming today and asked that I play music and we dance. When he was 2 I watched him a lot and that was one of his favorite things. I have 6 children's music cds.
