cj59, that's what weeklies are for! Good for you on the planning and getting back on track. I have been so bad with veggies, fruit and dairy. Exercise and water I'm pretty good with. I buy the bigger journal and it doesn't have the boxes to check off for those. I really need to get all my booklets out and read them again.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your weekend.
I did some more overeating yesterday, and I'm trying to get a handle on it today. It's amazing how quickly things can get out of control. At least I'm still doing my exercise and getting in my water, fruits, vegetables and dairy. But I've been eating too many junk foods and too much sugar. I hope I can get this out of my system today and be back on track tomorrow.

cj59, good luck turning the junk food off. You can do it. You've been doing great so far.
I wanted to share something a WW member suggested to me yesterday. She showed me a snack plate that was on FB that might be helpful to me at night with my wine. My plate tonight will have carrots, grapes, sliced apple, and a light baby bell cheese. All for one SP. I'll have two 5 oz glasses of wine for 9 SP. Hopefully that will keep me busy. I will change the plate up nightly so I don't get bored with it. Wish me luck ;-)

Hello Everyone sunrose - that sounds like a nice snack plate, healthy but also tasty and you get your wine too. The whole journey with weight loss and keeping off the weight is learning things like this, isn't it? I'm doing well today and staying on track. I did overeat yesterday, but not as bad as the days before. After eating so badly (and too much) over the last 3 days I knew I had to get myself back to normal. I can see how easily 3 days can become a week and a week a month, and so on. I refuse to let that happen to me after all the hard work I've put in to lose the weight and maintain the loss. So I hope I can have a good week this week. I don't have any challenging events, so hopefully it will be good. I was thinking though that when I do have an event where I'll likely overeat, that I need to be accepting of it and get right back on track as soon as possible after it. There are always going to be things like this in our lives and I have to learn to deal with them, enjoy them, and move right back into the mode of keeping the weight off. Hopefully saying this and telling myself this will get it in my mind for the next time. Hope everyone else is doing well too.

Just checking in for the day and hoping everyone is doing well on their plans and in their lives in general I'm hanging in there today, wanting to overeat, but I'm fighting it. I stayed on track yesterday and I want to have a good week.

Hi well I finally did it and reached 10% !!! Friday, I was down 4 pounds and couldn't believe it. When the weight drops it really drops. cj59, I hang in there I know you can do this. sunrose49, I hope the new snack is doing the trick and helping you stay on plan.

I didn't make the snack plate the other day because I was full after dinner. I think I just need to make the plate my dinner. hmmm...lol

sunrose - Isn't funny how we can sometimes plan too much food in our day? I'm always surprised when I do that. I guess I remember the "old days" when I really ate a lot of food each day.
wwlurker - If you are checking in, hope you let us know how you're doing.
I made it through yesterday O.K., and feel on track today. I did a survey of the food I have in the house and loosely made up a meal plan for the next several days. That will help me to stick with the plan.

Good Afternoon, nothing much going on today. I have buffalo chicken pasta in the crock pot for supper tonight. This weekend looks to be busy again with kid activities. Never made it back to the Y yet. I think once November gets here I will join, since it will be less busy around here. sunrose49, I hope you can get your steps in today. cj59, planning ahead is a great way to get back in control and hope the rest of the week goes well for you.

Had a food melt down last night. Have to stop eating my emotions. I did get my steps in yesterday. Have a doctor appointment at 10:00 today so the exercise will be in the afternoon.

Good Morning The buffalo pasta was good and I have leftovers. In the past it would have been gone in one day lol. I weigh in this morning and am down another pound for a total of 30 lbs gone. Now since I am doing Momentum that means dropping another point from my dailies too. My short term goal is now getting to 15%. sunrose49, I struggle with eating my emotions too. When it happens to me I have to get strict and weight/measure all my food. Hope exercise goes well in the afternoon. wwlurker, cj59, I hope you two are doing well.

leesa - Congratulations on the weight loss - 30 pounds is great!! - and spreading out your food over a few days. I've found that works well for me too, it's nice not to have to prepare a meal that second day. I'm glad you're still enjoying Momentum and it's working well for you.
sunrose - I still want to eat every single emotion I have, it's really difficult to avoid doing that. Hang in there! Hope your appointment went well and you get to your exercise.
I'm still sticking to my plan, only tonight and two more days to get through this week. I have a loose idea of my meals for the weekend, so hopefully that plan will work out to help me stay on track.
I went grocery shopping today when I was hungry (not a good thing to do LOL), but I was able to avoid pretty much all the bad food. I did buy one small sweet treat, and came home and ate part of it and threw the rest away, so I was glad to control that. I also really wanted to stop and get fast food, but I didn't so I'm happy about that too.

leesa, that is a great idea to measure/weigh all food when feeling emotional about something. I'll keep that in mind.
cj59, good for you on passing up the fast food. I did that yesterday too. Came home after my appointment and ate my planned lunch. You've got the next couple days in control before WI. You have come so far.
