Hello Everyone sunrose - I hope you got your walking in today. Is your ankle still hurting you though? I'm doing pretty well, just fighting the urge to snack. I'd been looking for some Jalapeno Cheddar Chex Mix for awhile and finally found some, now I have to be careful not to sit and eat it all day! I try to measure out a portion to eat to help control myself. I hope everyone else checking in is doing well on their plans.

Good morning
cj59, My ankle is feeling better. I walked 19,259 steps yesterday. Around the neighborhood with my dog for one session and the other with my friend on the towpath. It was a good day. Eating was another story. I've never heard of Jalapeno Cheddar Chex Mix. I'm not a big spicy fan.
I plan to go to a WW meeting this morning. I plan to walk again on the towpath later today.

Hello Everyone sunrose - I'm glad to hear your ankle is feeling better. Congratulations on all the steps, sounds like you got in some great exercise. hope you enjoyed your WW meeting and got in the walk today. Spicy foods have really helped me a lot over the last few years. I drink a lot of water when eating them and it fills me up. I'm doing well today and have stuck to my food plans for the day. I think I'll have lost some weight when I weigh-in tomorrow morning. I'm already trying to think ahead about meals for next week. I want to stay in this mode where I'm not overeating. Hope everyone else is doing well and will check-in and let us know how you are.

I am walking on the towpath this morning with my friend. The WW meeting yesterday was good. I will go again tomorrow.

Good morning everyone! I'm back from my trip and settling in. It was excellent. leesa - WTG on the 10%! cj59 and sunrose49- I'm right there with you with the emotional eating. It's always been an issue for me. I haven't checked in on a scale yet. I think that I'm probably about the same as I have been. My plan is to get back on to Momentum. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Hello Everyone sunrose - glad to hear you enjoy your meetings, I'm sure they are good support for staying on track. Hope you enjoyed your walk today. wwlurker - glad to see you checking and that you had a good trip. I hope your weight is about what you think it will be. I did lose about half the weight I had gained last week, so I was happy with that. Now I just need another few weeks staying on track. Already today I was tempted to overeat, but so far I've resisted. I hope I can continue to be strong. Hope everyone else checking in is doing well

Good morning everyone! I weighed in this morning and I'm up about 3 lbs after my trip. That was disappointing, but not entirely surprising. Yesterday I did fairly well, but ended up eating something I shouldn't have late at night. Today I have a lunch date and I hope to make a good choice but I know that my favourite will be calling my name. I'm also going to yoga tonight, so that will be nice. I just want to get a few good days under my belt so that I can settle in. cj59 - I am amazed that you are able to resist overeating so much. I long for your determination. Waving to sunrose49 and leesaHave a great day everyone!

Hello Everyone wwlurker - That's not a bad weight gain after a trip, some of it could even be fluid. I hope you can get a few good days down, it does seem to make it easier to stay on track after that. Hope you enjoy the yoga. I wish I could tell you the secret to resist overeating, but there isn't one, it's just having to do it and it's really hard. I don't always succeed either. This week has been tough so far. I want to eat everything in sight to deal with my emotions. I'm trying to keep myself busy to avoid overeating. I hope the week gets easier! Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

Good morning
wwlurker, good to see you. That is not a bad gain at all after traveling.
cj59, I hope the urge to over eat gets better with time. I feel that way too at times. Well maybe a lot of times--reason for being so over weight. We can do this!! WTG with losing half that weight you gained ;-)
I have been doing great with my steps. Went to a WW meeting yesterday. Sunday meetings I love the Leader. Tuesday meetings I love the members. Tuesday morning is a much smaller group and feels more intimate. Sunday is really crowded, but one lady there is so funny it's nice to just sit there and laugh.

Good morning everyone! cj59 - I think you're right; it's a bad habit/coping mechanism that I just have to break. I do hope that it gets easier over time though. sunrose49 - Good for you for getting your steps in and going to your meetings. Yesterday I did well, but I missed yoga due to a homework tantrum I was disappointed but knew that DD6 needed help calming down and getting it done, so I couldn't leave. I did make it to the gym this morning, though. It was my first time to the gym in about a month and it was great. I tried a new piece of equipment that I didn't really enjoy, but I was very glad to have gone. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Good morning everyone!
I did well yesterday, despite having a very high-point dinner. I should have looked before I ate, lol.
I made it to the gym again this morning, so I'm pleased with that. I also bought a ton of snacks to bring to work. They are not healthy snacks but they are portion controlled. I'm hoping that I can limit myself with them and use them to avoid buying even more unhealthy junk at work (and stay out of the snack cupboard).
I'm trying to take baby steps. I feel like I need to do Momentum right now so that I am able to eat whatever I want as long as I plan for it. I have lost a lot of my good habits from my other plan, so I will work on easing those back in gradually. For now, though, I need to do something that isn't quite so overwhelming. Progress, not perfection.
I've been getting on the scale every day and I've lost the weight that I gained while I was away. I'm thinking that it was mostly fluid retention. It was so humid and hot there, that my hands swelled up!
Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Hello Everyone wwlurker - Having controlled snacks at work always helped me when I was dieting, I hope that works for you. I'm glad to hear you've lost the weight you gained on your trip, I'm sure you're happy about that. Good luck with the program. I'm doing pretty good, and haven't done any overeating. So I hope that the rest of the week goes as well. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

Good morning! cj59 - I'm glad you're doing well with not overeating. Yesterday was a bit off. I had a luncheon, where I was served something I wouldn't normally eat and a dessert that I wouldn't normally eat as well. I left a bit of both the meal and the dessert behind, which is an improvement, I think. I also worked late and ended up eating snacks at work and then eating a bit more when I got home. It wasn't a disaster, and I had plenty of points to work with, but in retrospect, I wasn't satisfied with what I ate because I ate a bunch of little things and ended up feeling like I didn't have a real meal. I would have been much better off if I had had a reasonable dinner and then a small snack. Today should be fine. It's family movie night, so I will have to avoid buying too many treats. I have lots of point left for some treats, but I just don't want to go overboard. Also, I technically started this week on Day 3, so really, I should be leaving 10 WPs on the table. My points reset tomorrow. I will WI but I expect that it will be pretty close to what it was the past two days. Hope everyone has a great day!
