Hello Everyone wwlurker - I'm glad to hear you are doing well and planning out your points to include treats - that's the thing that makes Momentum work for me. Hope movie night goes well and that you enjoy the movie I'm doing pretty well today too. I have my food all planned out and I'm hoping to stick to it. I've also planned out some of the weekend so that should help. Hope everyone else is doing well today and that you all have a great weekend!

Hi everyone!
My WI this morning was the same as it has been the past few days - down 3 for the weeek.
Last night I overate. This morning I tracked everything but I keep remembering additional things I ate! It doesn't matter much now because my week has started over, but I would like to be honest and really track everything.
You may have seen my post on the other board about weekends. I do have trouble with weekends and I know the things I need to do but the support is nice. I like discussing weight loss topics in general so I think I may start posting more of those types of discussion points. Those are my favourite types of threads, I think.
I do have a bit of a plan for the weekend. I have exercise scheduled for both days, and I am going to try to have some healthy snacks planned so that I don`t throw it all out the window.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Just checking in for the day. This is the last day of my week so I'm hoping I can stay on track today. I'm feeling like it could go either way - good or bad. I need to find something to occupy myself so I stay out of the kitchen Hope everyone else is doing well today

Good afternoon
cj59 hope your WI tomorrow is good. I kept pretty busy over the past week with walking. I'm going to maybe slow it down a bit. We talked about emotional eating today at my meeting. The things people brought up to stay away from over eating fits any situation. Here are a few suggestions:
call or text a friend dance to your favorite song clean out your closet or junk drawer read a magazine play a game on your phone ride a bike or go for a walk toss a ball with your pet watch your favorite tv show

Good morning all! cj59 - GL for the WI. Let us know how it goes sunrose49 - those are come good ideas! I overate last night. DH came home with treats unexpectedly. I debated about eating them and ended up having too much. I'm not pleased with that choice, but I'm resolving to do better. I have to work on flexing my "no" muscle. I'm not happy with starting my workweek with so few WPs as a result of the unplanned overeating last night. This means that I have to try very hard to stay within daily points for the rest of the week. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Good morning
wwlurker, that is hard when something is brought home unplanned. I partake too. I did turn down mini m&ms the other day that my DSon brought home. I am going to work on patting myself on the back daily for something positive I did.
Hope everyone is doing good. Let's start the week off right ;-)

Hello Everyone sunrose - Good for you turning down the candy and making sure to get in your walking. wwlurker - I've been there, done that, with using a lot of my weekly points early in the week. You sound very self aware about your overeating and that's really half the battle. Good luck with the rest of the week. I did lose a few more pounds (from what I had gained a few weeks back) this week. Then I promptly decided to overeat this afternoon! I went grocery shopping earlier and avoided buying any bad food, then came home and I must have felt that I deprived myself and starting eating stuff I had in the house - mostly popcorn and pop-chips. Now I'm wondering if I wouldn't have been better off just buying something I wanted at the store and then maybe I would have avoided overeating - who knows! At least I have gotten in my exercise, water, fruits, vegetables, and dairy today and I'm planning a healthy dinner. As long as I can not let an overeating episode continue on into the next day (or even days), then at least I feel like I have learned better control that I had a few years ago.

Good morning all, I overate again last night, so I'm pretty disappointed with that. I am now seriously in the hole for the week. It sounds completely illogical, but the reason I overate was because the power was out, so I ate a ton of ice cream that was melting. I know. This morning I went to the gym. I am working late tonight and I have my meals for the day planned. I'm moving on. I spoke with DH about our eating habits yesterday. He said to give him one week, then he'll start working on whatever healthy change I want to implement. T sunrose49 - we need to celebrate the small stuff and keep working on the big stuff, I think. cj59 - good for you for moving on after overeating yesterday. That's what I'm trying to do today. Hope everyone has a great, OP day.

Hello Everyone
wwlurker - I can find a million reasons to overeat too. I'm glad you were able to shake that off and get to the gym.
Unfortunately I didn't move on after overeating yesterday afternoon, I continued out of control into the evening. When I'm still eating at 9:00 P.M., I know it's a bad day for me I have a "rule" that I won't eat after about 7:30-8:00 P.M., and I'm usually pretty good about sticking to it.
So now I've eaten all my weekly points for the week, on the first day. So I'm going to try to stick to my daily points and maybe use some activity points if I need to. I have a planned restaurant lunch on Saturday, so I really need to keep the calories/points low until then. I just have to work hard and believe I can do it.
I did throw out several junk food items yesterday, I just needed to get them out of the house if I can't control them.
I also need to really work on remembering that the foods I was overeating weren't even that enjoyable. A few of them were but others I was just eating to eat, and I really need to work at breaking myself from that. If I'm going to overeat I should at least be eating something I enjoy.
Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

Hello, my name is Linda, but you can call me LindyLuck, or Lindy. I am using the PointsPlus plan. About ten years ago I lost 60 pounds, and kept it off for about 5, but most of it found its way back. Last year I lost 29 pounds, but the holidays happened and I stopped following the plan. Practically all of those pounds are back. :-(
I need some accountability in order for this to work. I used to post on one of the other boards here, but they had a daily thread and wrote a LOT, and if I missed a day or two I had to go back and read everything to figure out what was going on. The fact that you have a monthly thread appeals to me.
So, can I join your thread? :-)
Thanks, LindyLuck

lindyluck, of course you can join us! Welcome! I am doing the old Momentum plan, as is cj59. sunrose49 does SmartPoints (I think). We are a pretty laid back, supportive group and we don't mind if you miss a few days at all - we generally don't write novels or too much about non-weight related stuff, so it's not hard to keep track. Glad to have you join us.

Yay! Thanks for the welcome. I am looking forward to getting back on track. It is so much easier when you have others who are on the same journey to cheer you on and help you out.
I've got my tracker app on my phone, a new battery in my Fitbit, and a Lokai bracelet on my wrist to remind me that I am On Program. Now I have people I can check in with. Thanks!

Good morning
Lindyluck welcome!! Great support here.
wwlurker, I do the same thing. I can't waste food (my parents fault ;-) Hope you were not without power for too long.
cj59, that's great you lost!
I was in the ER with my son yesterday. Turns out he has gallstones. He is feeling some better, but I over ate from the stress.
