Good morning. sunrose49 - my sympathies to your son. Gallstones are not fun. It was actually the worst pain I've ever had other than childbirth. lindyluck, I had to look up those bracelets. They look neat! Hope everyone is doing well with their plans. I had a rough night last night which carried on to this morning. I'm feeling off for a number of reasons and trying to muddle through.

Good afternoon all!
I weighed myself this morning, and surprised myself with a 2 pound loss!! I wasn't officially starting WW again until today, but I tried to ease myself back into the swing of things and I guess it worked! I ate salads or Lean Cuisine entrees for lunch, that seems to help me.
I had my gallbladder taken out about 8 years ago. The pain before got to be too much to bear. I am lucky that having it removed hasn't affected my ability to digest fats. I know someone who gets sick when she eats any dairy or fats, post GB removal.
The Lokai bracelet is cool (I made it my avatar photo) because of the whole balance concept. But the bigger reason why I got it is to remind me that I am back on WW. I get hunger amnesia and totally forget about eating right when I am hungry. This bracelet is there to jog my memory, lol. (I bought it on eBay for around $7.)

Hello Everyone
lindyluck - Welcome to our group. I'm so thankful for the support we give each other and I like that there's no pressure to post. Good luck with Points Plus again, lots of people really loved that program. Congratulations on the loss and thanks for the info on the bracelet, I'll have to check that out.
sunrose - I'm sorry to hear about your son, I hope things will go well for him and he'll be better soon.
wwlurker - Sorry to hear you had a rough night, I hope today is better. Hang in there and keep trying - I know you'll do that.
I made it through yesterday with no overeating and so far today I'm doing good. I just need to hang on and eat only my daily points through Friday and then on Saturday I have a planned lunch out at a restaurant and I want to use more points on that day.
I definitely need to think and figure out what causes me to overeat. It's so random, I can be doing fine for several days or even a week or two and then I go completely crazy eating! Maybe I need to plan foods I consider "treats" into my week more often and in a better way to help me avoid feeling deprived. And of course I need to stop overeating to deal with my emotions - that will always be a big problem for me.
Hope anyone else checking in is doing well.

Good morning everyone! I'm not doing so well. Lots of stuff going on. cj59 - I need to get a handle on the emotional overeating too. That's totally what I've been doing these past couple of days. Before that it was the unplanned eating that I wasn't resisting. lindyluck, I had my gallbladder out last year. It was a terrible experience with lots of complications that landed me in the hospital for a week. Since I've had it out, there is only one food that I find I can't get (anything from a local Indian fusion restaurant - I love their food, but it just has way too much oil in it). Hope everyone is doing well. I hope to get back on track soon. I keep trying, but I am at the point where I know that it will happen when it happens and I just have to try to minimize the damage until I am able to hop back on.

Good morning
cj59, I eat my emotions also. I didn't use to be that way. I was just the opposite. Hang in there you are doing great.
wwlurker, I had my gallbladder out about 11 years ago. I didn't have any problems. Sorry you had such a hard time before and after.
lindyluck, wow WTG with the loss!! That's great you are not having major problems after having your BG removed.
My son will see a surgeon next Tuesday. He is still uncomfortable. Has to watch the fatty foods right now. I got him a 3 month pass at WW for an early Christmas present.

Hello Everyone wwlurker - Hope today is going better for you. I know you'll get back on track when it's the right time. sunrose - Hope things go well with your son and that he'll enjoy going to WW. I'm doing alright today. I went grocery shopping and this time decided I was going to buy myself one treat food, instead of saying I couldn't have anything. So I did buy one 8 point food and I'm going to try to eat half today and half tomorrow. I haven't felt the need to binge after shopping either, and have my meals planned for today so I hope I can stay on track. I have found that going into stores is part of what triggers me to overeat, because I see all things I used to love to eat and now say that I can't eat them. I need to change my thinking on that, and fit in some treats so I don't feel deprived - which leads me to overeating. Hope everyone else checking in is doing well.

cj59, I was just lurking and read your "now I can't eat them" thought. I do the same thing too. I just wanted to suggest the new thought "I don't eat those because I'd rather lose weight" or "I can eat them, just not in the quantities I used to". Or take a tool out of my "I'll start my diet tomorrow" toolbox and say, "Maybe I'll buy some of those tomorrow." lol

I had my gallbladder removed (undiagnosed gallstones for 5 years - doctors are stupid, someone on the WW message boards finally told me what it was - and I'm allowed to call doctors stupid, I got my Bachelor's Degree with some of them and helped them through Genetics and Microbiology).
Anyway, I still can't eat most fried foods, and if I eat too much fat in a sitting I end up in the bathroom.
Still, compared to those attacks, it is a much-improved lifestyle, and if I had my gallbladder back tomorrow, I'd schedule it to be removed the next day.
Though, I completely feel for anyone who has complications from surgery. Any surgery is dangerous, which is why the sheer number of people getting gastric bypass terrifies me.
Good luck and good health to you and your loved ones!

Good afternoon
cj59, WTG with the small treat. That is a great idea.
irisinnia, I like your changing of the words in a more positive note. I had my gallbladder out about 10 years ago. It wasn't awful before, but after it was much better. Love your doggies ;-)
Waving to all

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today irisinnia - thanks for the tips on rethinking "treat" foods. I did pretty good yesterday, did eat only half of the food I bought but ate a little bit too much of the candy I also bought yesterday. But I got to a point where I made myself stop eating and didn't start overeating anything else just because I'd slipped with the candy. I have a food plan for today and most of the weekend, so I'm hoping to stick to that. I'm eating lunch out at a restaurant tomorrow and that's what I'd been saving up points for - even though I don't really have any extra ones left. I'm just going to make the best choices I can and even though I'll probably go over I'm going to accept that and eat well the rest of the day. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today sunrose - Thanks, I'm still a work in progress, but I appreciate the kind words Hope you enjoyed your walk today. I enjoyed my lunch out today at Red Robin Restaurant. I had a cheeseburger that was really good. I also had some ice cream today. I've gone over my points, but I'm not letting myself think that since I did that I can go crazy. I'm still making sure to get in my fruits, vegetables and dairy, as well as water and exercise. I try to make those 5 things a daily requirement. I've already planned out my meals for tomorrow, so hopefully I can stick to them.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are enjoying your weekend and doing well with staying on track This is the last day of my week, so I'm hoping to do well today. I have a little bit of a feeling of being out of control, so I need to make sure I keep myself busy and make good choices. It helps that I've planned out my meals for today.
