She fell backwards, lol, wouldn't that be on her arse in Great Britain? Could the coffee have been an adult beverage? How does one break a toe falling on one's arse?

I say Hilary should just keep doing what she's been doing - it just makes her look stupider every day and therefore less of a danger of being elected to something where she can do some real damage. That goes for the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Shumr, and Maxine Waters - the more they talk the more damage they do to the Democrat party.

Well, I was at an event over the weekend and surprise we had high school kids singing the national anthem, and no one "took the knee". It was real nice to see with all the crap going on. In fact people would come in and stop where they were and respect the flag and the song. I know it was only a dog show but even the dogs were quiet. I had never really thought about it before but it was so nice to see, and have done. The kids were really good. The two days they had different school groups. I was in different areas both days and the response was the same in both. Even the people that had dogs on grooming tables stopped. I had never though much about it until this year, I just took it has a part of the show.
Just a little tidbit Eleanor

Hi Gary, you are absolutely right let them all keep talking and making themselves look stupid.
Eleanor, good to see you here today. I am glad you enjoyed the National Anthem being sung at the dog show, especially by the students.

I just remembered as a child growing up in Northern Ireland when we went to the movies or anywhere like that at the end of the program everyone stood and they played the British National anthem and then we would leave.

It seems as though our thread is sort of floundering here lately. I guess I am just tired of the same old nonsense day after day with the constant barrage of attacks against our legitimately elected president, all the fake news everywhere, all the left wing attacks against our entire value system, etc., etc. A ray of hope are people like Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson. Most of the other Fox News shows are just another showcase for left wing ideology disguised as being "fair and balanced".
On a personal note, tonight I began my liquid diet in preparation for my colonoscopy Thursday afternoon. I have the solution mixed and in the refrigerator for use tomorrow afternoon and Thursday morning. I hear the cleanout is worse than the procedure itself! Wish me luck!

I have not been watching the news much lately. I am just so tired of fake news and all the vicious attacks on President Trump. There are some things he says that I don't like but we need to hear more about the good things he has accomplished. Now they are taking on President HW Bush who is in his 90s and in a wheel chair, An actress is accusing him of assault. I think people like her want the publicity and they go after people with deep pockets.
For 8 years there were no jobs now I see HELP WANTED signs when I am out driving around. When President Regan first took office I noticed the same thing. Which means that the economy is better under a Republican President and employers are more confident about hiring.

Gary, good luck with your test. I agree the pre test is awful. I hope the results are good.

WHy pick on a 90+ year old former president when we have so much ammunition regarding the ultimate womanizer, Bill Clinton?
Again, good luck with the scope, Gary

Meg, sent you the message I received as to why my post was pulled and my reply. I did not post about any one that is on any board here. Others used the same name and their posts were not pulled. And I got reprimanded. It's no big deal, but funny.

Geri, its been my experience in the past that they warn or pull posts just to make an example of someone. I have also seen where certain moderators have a bias one way or another (this was true on the original WW site)- sometimes a post would be pulled by one moderator, and another would let it go through later on. I remember Gary used to copy all of his posts into an email, so that he could recreate it if necessary. (Think it was Gary)

Well, the colonoscopy is history. Don't remember a thing. I woke up and there was my sister ready to take me home. Diagnosis: diverticulosis; recommendation: a daily Miralax regimen. Not too surprising since my mom also had it, only hers occasionally flared into diverticulitis. Came home and ate a double portion of Mexican Layered Chicken from the Weight Watchers recipes. I went through it and calculated the calories per serving under Nutrisystem: 375 / serving - not bad.
Welcome back to Gini; hope to see you here again. I notice you have postings under Crafters here, so come next door and visit us too! Yeah, I had my share of run ins with Misinformatiion. Thank God she is no longer here, at least not under any alias I recognize, although her writing style would give her away every time. Since I don't go to the other side and most of the time they don't come here, I am happy to keep it that way.
