Connie, yes, you can have the injections more than once. I have them every 6 months in both knees. I think I've been having them for four years now. Sounds like the PA injected your knee just as the doc does mine. I know some docs don't use the freeze spray before the injection, so it has occurred to me that it might be unnecessary. However, it does make me THINK/FEEL that I'm not going to hurt, and so it puts me in a relaxed frame of mind.
I've always just gone about my regular routine following the injections (which I normally schedule first thing in the morning). I've never had an issue with residual pain. One year, though, I did have a rash after my final injection. It was about the size of a quarter on just one site. I used my regular rash med, and it went away quickly.
I'm sure they will help you! --Molly
PS: I thought, too, that Dessie's son told her they were NOT going to do ProBoards. Didn't she go on Facebook, though?

I guess I'll put in my two cents. I don't think Dessie would be comfortable with this chat site. I mean moving to pages, etc. She did not ask again for instructions. Will go look for her email. Then, people could still contact her.
That Harvest Moon is bright!
She is on FB. Maxine Henry.

Well we are on page three even without me.
Daughter #3 (Gloria) came for a visit today. Had breakfast with hubby. Was good seeing her. She's so busy we don't see her enough.
No nap today and I'm tired.
