MINDFUL MONDAY... PLAN the day - track it - then DO IT! I will be mindful of tracking BEFORE eating/drinking today... and tweak what I have BEFORE I eat/drink!
Going to be a long day... work at 8, Dr @ 9:10, back to work - no lunch, as my Dr visit will be my lunch hour... work til 5... DH is home and should have dinner ready when I get here... my plan is to eat and crash!
B: Oven Omelet S; Strawberries - Greek Yogurt L: Salad w/ chicken & HB Egg S: Celery w/ LC Cheese wedge or butternut squash soup D: Prime Rib (DD Brought a little home from her dinner meeting last night) Baked Potato, Squash, green beans...
Will have plenty of water/hot tea today... and will get my "steps" with the back and forth to the parking lot and the Dr office, etc.
So let's MOVE into MINDFUL MONDAY, and will you share your plan??

So my SUNDAY FUNDAY was anything BUT... Y'all know I felt like crap - then began to feel guilty that Tracy was doing all the prep for the week ahead...
She seemed fine with it - and heaven knows she will eat most of what she prepped - so it's OK all around, BUT the ME in ME just feels like it should have been ME doing the work - not going to dwell on it though...
I DID THE DISHES! LOL
So I have tracked my day - WHOA to sodium in Prime Rib... kinda not sure I agree, but, whatever... I did some tweaking... no HB egg on my salad...will still be over in PROTEIN - Sodium & Sugar (By 1), so if this works for the day - it works for me! Quite honestly I am not sure I WILL eat all I have tracked...
OK Going to try to catch up on last night really quickly, then I NEED to get moving... can't be "too late" since I have to leave before 9! LOL

Sue: I am sure glad I didn't have to leave my house yesterday! YAY for all you got done! YOU GO GF!!
Yes... I truly "believe" that 2017 will be my year - to get where I want to be!
OH Tracy got us some apples yesterday too... hmmmm.....LOL No room for them today!
Shelly: OH NO! Gotta take the meds hon! :-) Hope you feel better by today! Mmmmmm, saved that recipe... but instead of over tortilla chips, I am thinking brown rice?!?? Now to put it in the recipe builder and see the "damage"! LOL No time this morning...
Lisa: YAY for DD meeting baby Kennedy... I bet he was pleased ♥ YES A NEW WEEK AHEAD!!!
Shall we start it being MINDFUL today???
Gabrielle: I WISH you were getting SNOW instead of rain... I know it would be a LOT, but wish too that there was some way to HANG IN TO THIS WATER for the year ahead {{{{{hugs}}}}}
Is all this rain bothering your trees and/or vines??
Sorry DS is not happy with returning to school... I can't blame him - WOW to a long break!!! Hopefully he "shapes up" and figures out soon that this is his FINAL year... and THIS IS IT!
YES, I think the humidifier is helping with DH snoring too!! I may have to invest in a smaller/quieter one, less $$ to run? I don't know but listening to this one all night WAS a bother... but not enough to keep me "awake" long... maybe the noise was helping too? Anyway... I do know they make quieter units now-a-days... this is DD's OLD one from college...I may need one down here too - for when the pellet stove is running??!??
Oh YES, I enjoyed Old Sacramento too! My kiddos (adults) enjoyed it too... LOL My DDIL is a "historical" buff... about trains and such, so she had a blast!
We are doing a meal this week with Cauliflower "rice" that we have in the freezer... hope it turns out well!

OK Time to head upstairs... need to dress WARM today - thinking long pants and BOOTS... warm turtleneck with overshirt, and a sweater... layers I guess...
Whopping 8 degrees here today - and I don't think we are expecting much in a warm up today! Hoping the sun comes out though, so at least we have that!
Oh did I tell you? There is a small window of time... each afternoon - from like 2:45 - 3:15 when the sun shines IN ON MY FACE!?? I went over and opend the blinds one day... One gal was concerned it would "bother someone" and I said, nope... it shines directly on ME, and I am NOT COMPLAINING... seriously, if we would open the blinds so the sun shoots the opposite direction... it would not BOTHER anyone... all day... the blinds would direct it right to the blank WALL, but no one BELIEVES me!! I think Tracey (the one nearest the blinds) is on vacation soon, I will adjust them as I think they should be, and see if it bothers anyone during the day.... at least for one week - while she is out - MAYBE we can have more sunlight in our room!?!??
Anyway - OK gotta go... ♥hugs♥

Good morning! Carole: Thanks for starting us off today --hope that your full day doesn't set you back from getting over this bug . Seems like you are a bit better? Yep, it's hard to let go and let others take care of things--I am the same way. Good for you for letting Tracy do the prep work. Love your plan for "testing" the sunshine in the room. Sounds like a good idea! Some just don't seem to be too sensitive at all to what others might need. Yes, lots of cool CA history in Old Sac. My friend is writing a screenplay and it is focusing on a legend of an old gold miner---sounds interesting to me. She needed to find some things and will be making another trip up here to visit the gold country. Hope that you have a good day--good job tracking your day and getting ready for the prime rib (I love prime rib!) Sue: Good idea to get the fluids in your body today--I know that you will, you are good at goals and getting it done!

Jo: Sorry for the rough sleep. Grrr to DS keeping you up....that's rough!
Lisa: Hope that DS has a good first day--have a good day yourself!
Hello to all who follow. Planning to go to spin class tonight. Have an "action packed" week with at least two evening meetings so those two evenings are out and don't want to do spin too close to the marathon on Sunday--it's amazing how worn out your legs can get! I will try to check in later since chances are pretty good that I won't be taking a lunch break (for more than 20 min or so) today. See you all later--hope that we dry out a little bit today between storms!

Carole, great idea to test the sun out so everyone will see that no one else will be affected. I have part of a window but I love it. In the mornings for about 1/2 an hour that shines in. Kind of blinding but I just let it and enjoy the sun. Good for DR for doing that prep work for you. Just let it go. I too believe that 2017 will be my year to get healthy. I'm on this journey for good though. Seems like you are feeling better. If you find a good humidifier let me know the one we Jane spits water everywhere.
Gabrielle, another half marathon. You go girl. Enjoy spin tonight. Sounds like an interesting topic to write on. Will hour get to go with her back to Old Sac.

Hello everyone:
Well it snowed all day Saturday about 4-5 inches on the ground then it froze over the top of that. Sunday it warmed up and melted most of it off very slowly. So needless to say I sat on the couch all day and binged watched "House Of Cards" it's my new net flicks show. Today I'm back at work and all the snow is gone. It was really coming down though for a while this morning just not sticking. It going to get really bad again on Wednesday and drop back down into the mid 20's and upper teens, more snow on the way. I tell ya it's been a weird start to the winter this year. We have had a lot of snow and it's just getting started. I never thought I'd say this I can't wait for Spring and Summer to start.
OK need to get back to work I will try and get back after the gym tonight
Hello to all who follow and have a great day
Jenny

Evening all....home from the pool enjoying some spaghetti squash with homemade sauce & meatballs...yummy!! I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach...not sure I'll finish the bowl but will take it for lunch tomorrow if I don't!!
Shelly...thanks for the recipe...how many 1 cup servings to you think it makes?? 6?? I put it in the MFP recipe calculator and adjusted the ingredients to the ones I would use, like FF sour cream and Fiesta Blend cheese from Walmart...I put in 6 serving and it's about 265 calories per cup!! It is a good idea to put the salsa, cheese & sour cream on the side, then you can have some but cut the amount to save a few calories!!
Lisa...so glad you got to spend time with DD and he got to meet the newest addition to the family!!! Hope you got lots of pictures!!
Gabrielle...glad you opted for the TM and not being out "in the elements"...with the rain & wind, stuff flies around, branches fall and leaves on the ground are slippery!! I'm sure DS is not a happy camper....will say all "my boys" were excited to head back to school/preschool!!! I know in 10 years that won't be the case!! LOL! It was nice to have a lazy day....don't get those very often!! No...the store was CRAZY!!! I thought maybe it would be quiet too but I was wrong!! Yes, I too "pay for it" when I stay up too late but it usually hits the 2nd day, just like you!!
Actually it was me that asked about the taco shells...are they soft taco shells? I haven't found any less than 4SP...will have to see if our Walmart carries Ole Tortillas....doesn't sound familiar...wonder if it's a west coast brand?
