Good afternoon,
HI Amy, I will be glad when you get you Pilates machine, I am anxious to know how you like it. I have used the rebounder for ten minutes today. I walked two miles yesterday and three today.
Yesterday I cleaned our play room, my granddaughter is a hoarder. She collects and saves everything. It was a big mess. She came and helped me, we had a big bag of trash, and she was a good sport about it. I told her she needed to keep it organized . Sure looks a lot better. My son cleans her room every so often, he says mom it is terrible. I get tickled at him. Maybe girls are worse I don't know since I had boys and growing up there were five girls in my family but we didn't have much to save. One of my sisters was bad as an adult, and my husband was a collector so maybe she inherited it, lol. Have a great evening.

Good Morning!!
I had a lazy weekend other than attending my work function Saturday evening. Eating was ok over the weekend but no exercise. I really have been in a funk, I know I have not been feeling the best, but I need to get moving. I really want this to be the year I do not keep gaining and losing the same 5-7 lbs.
Oh I almost forgot my niece had her Twins on Friday morning. Charles and Isabelle. Good sized babies for twins over 6 lbs and being about 5-6 weeks early. They will be in the hospital at least til tomorrow providing there are no issues.
Nancy: Good job with your miles and steps. I have not gotten that many steps in a very long time. Good job getting the playroom cleaned. I like that you had your granddaughter help.
Amy: I am glad you decided to not get the nutrisystem diet. I think there meals are great and good portions, but I do not think it actually teaches a person how to eat in the real world.
Cait: Hope you are enjoying your visit with your sister. Good job with the marching in place.
Waving to the rest of the gang. Skinny vibes and Happy walking.

Good morning.
After work on Friday, well I actually left work early, we were packed up and were going to go see my son, DIL, and the baby Brooke, she was born Dec 13. We got a call from my S-daughter saying she went to the dr and they wanted her to go over to the hospital to get checked cuz her BP was very high and she was retaining a lot of water. She was due 1/19. We turned around and I went up to the hospital, I was her birthing partner~she is 36 and could not find a mate that she liked enough and didn't want to 'settle' so she went the donor route. They had her hooked up to a monitor and her labor pains were about 2.5 minutes apart and were consistent although not very painful. So her dr said that was good and would not give her meds to start labor since it started. Well during the night it stopped!! So in the morning they put a balloon in to help open the cervix, which they will leave up to 12 hours but it usually come out when the cervix gets to 4 cm. So 12 hours later we went from the high risk obgyn dept to the labor and delivery dept. They removed the balloon and started labor around midnight. I don't know why they can't do this stuff in the daytime!!! So she had the baby at 7am on Sunday. She is just beautiful! I cut the cord! Needless to say, I did not get any workouts in.
Nancy: I want to be a good Grandma like that. I have 2 teenage grandkids that live in TX so I don't have the relationship with them that I hope to have with these two little girls. I am closer with my granddaughter down there, we text and I keep her informed about these two so she doesn't feel 'dumped' by me.
Cait: Sounds like you are having a great time while your sister is here. Good idea for a party so everyone can see everyone. When we go to TX to see my son and family it is always nice they have a little get together so I can see his grandparents and stuff. His father died when he was very very young but he lives down there by his parents.
Amy: Wouldn't it just be great to have someone prepare and serve healthy proportion sized meals every day!? I would love that so much.
Well here are my steps for Friday, Sat and Sunday. Not much but at least I am a pacer!
Friday 9903 steps, 4.35 miles Sat 8712 steps, 3.8 miles Sun 5596 steps, 2.45 miles
59.1/250 miles as of Jan 13
