Ginny, I would definitely give the china away if I had someone to give it to. My ds lives in INdiana so too expensive to ship. DD's kids have already broken all of her mil's nice china that they got after she died so not giving it to her either so I think I'll just get it out and use it.
Phyl, I love penguins. I've collected a lot of them in stuffed animal shape, towels, on t shirts,etc so I need to look for some of that fabric.
Well I started the third cowl. Actually the pattern calls it an infinity scarf but I'm going to make it shorter. It uses the puff stitch which I've never done before so I had to look at a youtube a couple times to get how to do it. I never really liked the look of puff stitches but in this pattern and with the yarn I'm using it works.I hope I have enough of the yarn to make a decent length.If not I guess I could use white and actually make it an infinity and it could be put around the neck twice and look good that way too.
