Today was rainy as expected so we stayed home today. I am giggling at our topic today ---"outhouses". Growing up in NYC I didn't experience anything like that until I went with my DSis up to "the cabin"...way up in the north of NY State and it was equipped with it's own outhouse. We even fished for trout while there. My DSis's husband who she is divorced from now after 29 years of marriage was a strange guy and we had to sneak up on the fish first so we were out crawling around the ground next to the lake. Cat: Living on the ranch there is hardly anyone out here at night....Most of our doors are open all day and then just lock them at night. We are 3.5 miles from the nearest 7/11 so I call this the outback. Let's get into our circle now and sing our song "WE CAN DO THIS, YES WE CAN...WE CAN LOSE NEW POUNDS...MY THIN FRIENDS!"

Good evening Friends. I will post a tonight while I am watching the championship game Bobby started watching and then went to bed. It has been a busy day, but I did get a few things done off of my to do list. I walked 45 minutes, did paperwork, and went to the training session, but I think I already took told you this. Kathie, I am seeing photos on FB of the damage rain is doing in northern CA. It seems like our weather is going to extremes somewhere in the country every day. Glad you got Jim to Walmart and hope he can help you transfer. Get that one prosthesis on so he can help you. I hope you get to go to a meeting sometime soon to get the new books. However, after 40' years I don't think it is much new. Today in our class the instructor told us to watch closely that we are getting enough protein, and that the body cannot process more than 20-25 g of protein in a meal. New learning for me. I had several meals where I didn't get enough, and several where I was over. I keep the Premier Protein drinks for those times...but she suggests drinking only half of a drink, which is 15 g. Good idea, and freeze the rest for a slushy for later. They are on sale this month at Costco as is the Turbo tax. I stayed within my calories on MFP but used about 4 WFP. All good. I guess tomorrow morning I will see how much of that 5.8 pounds was real. I didn't eat lunch, and I had different clothes on. But the ham and bean soup I had for lunch was VERY SALTY so I expect I could be up about 3#. What a game we play - up, down, up, down.
Tomorrow I have PT and intend to get lots done here. We also need to get to the store. We can do it, yes, we can.

Good morning,
Wind been blowing all night but it's from the south and it's already 40 out, which is a heat wave after what we've been having!
Once again American changed one of our flights in April but this time it's the return flight and now we have a 1 1/2 hour layover at Dallas which is okay but they had our seats at the very back of the plane right next to the bathroom so I was able to get online and change those seats! Wonder how many more times they will change things. I told Fred now I remember why we started flying Delta rather than American!
With it being warmer I plan on getting out and walk more today.
Hope everyone has a good day, Sandy

Thanks for the start Kathie. That's one thing we always remember is our experience with the outhouse. As I am older that you I have many such memories. Harriet I agree with you. There wasn't too much new in the books except to learn how to be happy in your every day life. I'm with you on the up and down on the scales. I weigh myself every day and it's hard to stay the same even for 1 week. Sleep tight! I don't know why but every day I try to post after I read the posts and it still says I must download before I can post. Great weigh loss! Lucy your life sounds like mine when I visited my Aunt at the homestead, our lake place in winter when we turned off the water and when we visited my Mom's friend at the farm. We took it all in stride. Loved your stories. Cat I am with you. I love my retirement community and I feel very safe on the 3rd floor.I was afraid to stay in my house alone. I did all my activities yesterday and did run into some pain. Today I will walk, although the weather is bad. I'll dance at 1 if it improves. I already got an email from my DB to keep safe. I hope everyone has a great day, Nancy Maybe I'm not hitting the right space to post. Which button do I hit?
