leesa - thanks for the support I'm doing pretty well today. I have my meals worked out. I have a few extra thing to eat that will put me over my daily points, but not by too much. I think that's the best I can hope for right now - just going over a bit instead of a binge of overeating. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans and just in your life

Hi everyone.
I'm doing ok but I'm going to take a break - I won't be back for a while at least - I want to spend some time focusing on repairing my relationship with food, and I can't be trying to lose weight while I do.

wwlurker - We'll miss you posting, but I admire your taking the time to work on this issue. I know you'll be able to figure it out and I'll be glad to see you posting again once you do. Take care
Even though I've lost a lot of weight I still have issues with food and I would benefit from working on my relationship too. Sometimes I feel like I'm constantly thinking about food.
I'm not completely off track this week, but just enough each day that it's not good. I haven't completely given in though, so I'm taking that as success. Hopefully I can get my mind back on the right track and stick to the plan better.
Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today I'm doing a little better today (so far), feeling more in control and sticking to my points. This is the longest amount of days in a row that I've been somewhat out of control since I started back on program in March 2015 - and it's been very scary. I can see how easy I can slide back into my old ways of eating and bad habits I used to have. It is so easy just to give in to the easy way of eating whatever I want and also eating to deal with emotions. I keep reminding myself that there are some things that I must do each day - track my food, drink my water, eat fruits, vegetables and dairy and get in my exercise/steps. As long as I'm still doing these I hope I'll be able to stay on my food plan pretty well.

Just checking in for the day. I'm still a little bit off track with my eating but trying not to go crazy. I've been thinking that I need to plan out my meals for next week, so I can fit in the holiday food. Hopefully I can do that this weekend.
Hope everyone else is doing well and that you have a great weekend!

Good morning
cj59, you are right on (as far as I'm concerned) with the "each day - track my food, drink my water, eat fruits, vegetables and dairy and get in my exercise/steps." I have tried to make boxes on my journal that capture those things. I have gotten very bad about my F/V. I'm good with water, ok with exercise, terrible about dairy. I so need to focus.
I saw my cardiologist the other day and he is not happy with my weight. Every time I go to him he brings it up. I have to lose about 65 pounds. I don't know why I don't do it. I've never been this bad in my life. I always kept my weight in check. Sometimes I put on about 20 pounds, but then I would put the breaks on and lose it. I have forgotten what it feels like to be slim. I'm not giving up trying, but I feel like I have given up on myself (make sense?).
Waving to all.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well sunrose - I hope you can find your focus and get in the right frame of mind to lose weight again. It's not an easy thing to do and we all have to find the thing that motivates us - which also can be difficult. I'm doing some things right, but I'm also doing a lot of overeating of junk this weekend. I'm still tracking and getting in the foods, water and exercise I require myself to do each day, but I do feel out of control. I'm hoping to get over that feeling today and start fresh tomorrow morning, which is the beginning of the week for me. I have an idea of what meals I can have next week, so hopefully that will get me back on track. It's really scary how easy it is to just give in and eat whatever I want. I need to remember why I lost the weight in the first place and how much better I feel now than I did over 2 years ago.

Good morning
cj59, it is hard keeping the motivation going. Once I start losing I pretty much can stick to the plan, but once I start back I fall hard. It's a constant struggle. Hang in there you are doing great!
I lost 1.2 at my WW meeting yesterday. Now to keep it going.
Waving to all.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today sunrose - Congratulations on the loss at your meeting yesterday, hope you can keep it going. Well I weighed-in today and it wasn't pretty I've had gains the last 3 weeks, so it was really a wake-up call for me. Looking at my weight chart, it shocked me to see this is my highest weight in about 6 months. I can't let myself slide back into those old habits. I really wish this wasn't Thanksgiving week, but it is and I just have to work with it. I'm going to keep strictly to my daily points until Thursday and then use my weekly ones for Thanksgiving Day and the day after. Hopefully I can stick with this plan. It would be so easy for me just to give in and eat what I want, but I have to resist that feeling since I know where it will lead. I need to remember to be accountable to myself, like I've been for over 2 years now.

cj59, Thanksgiving meal is hard. I am such a stuffing eater. My favorite. I did not buy pumpkin pie this year. It will just be my son and I. Neither one of us needs it. I will usually eat one piece and he will eat the rest over a couple days. Now that he is going to WW I am not going to sabotage him. Over 2 years wow! I understand the rough times with eating and just wanting to let go. Hang in there you can do it!
I am cleaning house this morning. Also working on my steps.
Waving to all

sunrose - sounds like you've mad some good food choices for your holiday meal this week. Thanks for the support. I've been tracking my daily food since March 2015. I'm not bragging about it, I do it because I knew right from the start I would have to do this forever if I wanted to stay on track. I cannot trust myself to eat the right foods each day if I don't write them down. I slack a little on zero point foods and condiments, but I try to make sure to write down most everything else. I weighed again today and I'm down some pounds from yesterday's high, so I guess some of that was fluid retention. I stayed on track yesterday and I'm hoping for two more good days before the holiday. I love pumpkin pie, and since I only have it once a year, I do make it just for myself. What I've done the last few years though is to bake it without a crust. That has worked fine and I still get all the taste with less calories. I need to work out the points for what I'm making on Thursday so I can spread them out over a few days. That's what I did last year and the year before and it worked for me, so hopefully I'll do well this time too. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans

Good morning
cj59, you so inspire me! That is awesome that you have tracked for so long. I really need to do that. I track breakfast/lunch and then stop. I've been doing it mostly on the WW app, but I think keeping a journal really works better for me. Congrats on the loss. I use to make the WW crust less pumpkin. I think I will try to find it and see if I have all the ingredients.
I plan to check back tomorrow. But just in case I want to say that I am thankful for all the support here.

sunrose - For tracking I had some old copies of the paper weekly planner they gave out at the meetings. I ran copies of it and that's what I use to write down all my food. I know if I didn't do this, I would not have been successful losing the weight. The pumpkin pie I make is just a regular filling (I use the Libby's Pumpkin Pie Filling) and I cook it in a pie plate with no crust. I don't really miss the crust anymore, since I'm used to this now. I'm making my pie today and I also made some cranberry sauce, using orange juice and only half of the sugar the recipe called for. It tastes pretty good, just makes too much for one person. I made it through yesterday on track and I'm doing well today and hope to stick to my food plan through Friday. I also weighed again and had lost some more weight, so I guess I really was retaining a lot of fluid. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans
