Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!!
cj59, wow more weight loss. Good for you. That's a great idea on how you track. I know tracking is key to weight loss, but I just can seem to make that click with it. I need to be more positive and say "I can" and "I will"
I put the turkey in to cook. My son gets off at 12:30 so I am planning on eating around 1:30. I have not made the pie yet. I will do that after the turkey comes out.
I am thankful that I found this group and I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Wishing everyone that checks in on our thread a very Happy Thanksgiving!! sunrose - Hope you and your son enjoy your meal today I made my pie yesterday and I enjoyed some last night, I'll have the rest over the next two days. I want to get my higher calories foods eaten today and tomorrow and only have turkey left for the weekend. I can eat that with lots of vegetables and maybe some gravy and potatoes. Hopefully I can stick to my plans and stay on track.

Good morning
cj59, sounds like you have a good plan in place. I didn't make the pie. My neighbor dropped off some very delicious cookies yesterday and I have already eaten 3 of the 4. Ugh.
I really need to get moving today. Starting off with a walk with my doggie.

sunrose - Hope you get your walk in today. I do the majority of my exercise in the morning, so it avoids me putting it off
Cookies are tough to resist, do your best
I enjoyed my meal last night and stuck to my plan and didn't overeat. This is the 3rd Thanksgiving I've been able to do that, and I hope I've learned skills that I can take into the future. In the past I would eat the whole day long, and I know I can't do that anymore.
I do have my meals planed for today and tomorrow, mostly. I'm going out to eat breakfast with friends tomorrow but I've been able to look at the restaurant menu and know what I can pick to stay on track. I'm just hoping to make it through the rest of the holiday weekend and stay within my points.
Hope anyone else checking in is doing well on their plans.

Good morning
cj59, good for you on sticking to the plan on Thanksgiving and not over eating. I was pretty good since I was alone most of the day. I did go to my neighbors yesterday and had too much wine, but it was fun to catch up.
I did a turbo jam workout yesterday. I too like to exercise in the morning. If I wait until the afternoon it usually does not get done.
I hope everyone is doing well.

Hi sunrose - Glad to hear you made it through the holiday fine too I did well today, still sticking to my weekly points and daily points. I have a few weekly points left for tomorrow so I should make it through the week on track. That will be a relief after several weeks of having off track days.

Good Morning I hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend. Mine has been hectic as usual with the kids. Ds got his drivers license on Wednesday and I have been stress about him being able to drive on his own. It's been almost 2 weeks since I face the scale, so I did it this morning. Was relieved to see a one pound lost. I did well over the holiday tracking everyday and staying within points. I just haven't been very active these last few weeks. cj59, Glad you were able to stick with tracking and are moving is a positive direction. sunrose49, WTG on the exercise that is one area that I really need to work one.

Hi leesa - Congratulations on the weight loss, and over a holiday week and some added stress too! Good for you. I hope your son will have safe travels, I don't have children but I can imagine how much worry there is when they are out on the road. I'm doing pretty well today and have my meals planned out and I hope to stick to them. This will be the first week in about three weeks that I haven't binged or gone over my points. I want to work hard to stay on track up until close to Christmas when I know there are going to be a lot of food temptations. Hope everyone else is having a good day and staying on track

Checking in for the day. I weighed-in today and lost the weight I'd gained a few weeks back, so I think most of it was fluid. I found that when I have a good loss my mind thinks that I should reward myself with food. This just seems so strange since usually you would think a loss would make you feel strong and wanting to stay on track. But I find that a gain makes me want to work harder to lose the weight. I guess there is good and bad in this way of thinking I've wanted to overeat today but so far I've stayed on track and hopefully I'll have another good week. This time of year is just so tempting to give in to all the good foods, and I really need to be able to fit anything I want to eat into my day/week. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans

It's very quiet in our thread - I hope everyone is doing well both in their lives and on their plans I'm hanging in there this week - fighting a lot of desire to overeat. I was thinking the other day that keeping this weight off (and losing it at first) feels like a job to me. I have to think about it all the time, plan for exercise, plan for health foods, plan for water, etc. There are times I just want a vacation from it all. But I'm going to try to stick with it this week since I know those holiday foods are coming up in December.
