Thank you choney2. Yes some of those reporters will use any situation to try to push their own agenda no matter that it's grossly inappropriate.

I don't post here anymore, but I do read the posts. I had never had any interaction with the person that was mentioned here and that person is not on Proboards that I know of. I don't post here because I don't really want to discuss the events going on in the world in such a public forum. I do have friends with whom I can have friendly discussions without any animosity. Hello to the conservatives, chilly in Florida today but not as cold as some parts of the country are going to be. Hope all the regulars are doing fine.
I am only posting today so there are no misconceptions by anyone reading the thread that there was any animosity with anyone here, but from the old WW message boards. And not the over 60's, or what ever it was called

I guess the idea is that it is ok to discuss public figures here but to avoid discussing people who may or may not be posting on these boards. I'm cool with that in order to avoid "food fights" with other posters which I understand. The moderators have enough to do without having to break up fights among posters here.
Welcome gramma13 and nice to see geric drop in. You are both welcome any time.

Thank you Gary. I do seem to have the same thoughts about politics as most of the others here. I've posted here once or twice but that's it. I've been trying not to get involved in too many threads but on the other thread I'm on over on another board, I can see that they don't see the political side of this country the same way I do which is ok because they rarely talk politics and are very nice women. And I've known Meg a long time and know that she and I think alike on political issues AND is just plain a nice person

The problem with draining the swamp is when you peel back one layer there are several more filthy layers beneath it and the tentacles are everywhere. I hope the Trump administration can get to the bottom of it all. The swamp is full of not only democrats, but establishment Republicans, RINOs, the corrupt media, the deep state, and who knows who else, and they are all fighting tooth and nail to hang on to the status quo. I hope Trump can hang on because it will be an extremely rough ride ahead. I am glad to see there is finally evidence pointing right back to the Clintons, the most corrupt couple in America today.

Gary, very well put. I am sickened by all the muck coming out of the swamp. The powers that be in Washington keep trying to drag President Trump down because they fear him. I am disgusted by both parties. Though the Republican party keeps asking me to send them money I will not support a party that uses that money to try and bring down their own members when running for election. I don't have a lot of money to send anyone but I will choose myself who I will support.

I contributed to the Republican party and to the Mitt Romney campaign and that turned out to be a big mistake. I got more junk mail than I ever imagined from all kinds of Republican organizations, the RNC, the RNCC, the RSC, various individual candidates, etc. Plus I was getting so many phone calls soliciting money I finally had to change my phone number. I just refuse to contribute to political campaigns any more although I did contribute a little to the Trump campaign. Your volume of junk mail and phone calls increases dramatically once you open the floodgates with ONE contribution. I even told one of them when I was foolish enough to answer the phone that I refuse to contribute to a party that doesn't keep their promises. I am totally disgusted with the Republicans mow because of the likes of John McCain and Jeff Flake, MY senators, who have sabotaged every promise they made to the American people. They might as well be democrats.

Hi Geri, I am glad you are popping in to visit us. I wonder if they will ever put the Clintons where they belong. I have had my DGD #1 and her DH here this week. They will be flying back to Florida on Sunday. It has been cold and wet part of they time they have been here but that hasn't slowed them down. I know they like the weather in Florida. I will have to make plans to visit them soon.
Gary, I noticed Senator Hatch blow his lid today. He always seems cool, calm and collected.
Good night everyone.

I saw that bit with Senator Hatch too. About time. When a democrat has nothing substantial to say, they start a filibuster about junk having little to do with the question / conversation at hand. I see it all the time on Fox News, especially on Tucker Carlson's show. They talk really fast trying to make as many of their talking points as possible before Tucker calls them out for not answering the question and finally ends up having to cut them off.
