But they didn't really tell me anything, just a lot of hinting.

That sounds pretty much like the old Core program, or the earliest Simply Filling.

Rene, thanks for that article. If you go into any UK WW Facebook group, that is all they are talking about with actual screenshots of the plan. They got their plan on Sunday. I’ve probably accumulated everything I need to know about the plan by now, and I’ve been following it. For me, this is the best WW plan ever. It’s perfect for me.

From what I have gathered, it sounds like all fruits, veggies, chicken, tofu, seafood, nonfat plain yogurt, beans, and eggs will be zero points. And if that is the case, I'm thrilled because I build my days around all of those.

For many I think it will depend on how much you can adjust your eating to account for the new zero point foods. I do eat a lot of boneless, skinless chicken breast. But, even 6 ounces is only 3 SP. There are foods I currently eat because they have a lot of protein (which I focus on) and are relatively low point but they still will have points. For example, a Quest bar is something I eat for a lot of protein/fiber but it is 4 points and will still be 4 points. I eat Kay's protein snacks because they have 12g of protein and low sugar. They have 3 points. On days that I don't eat out I probably don't usually eat more than 3 or 4 points in foods that are now 0 points.
I don't eat eggs most days (I love eggs but partly just laziness to have to cook eggs, and partly just the residual effect of having been taught it was bad to eat too many eggs). A serving of chicken is usually 3 ounces for me. So, even if I eat it for dinner and lunch it isn't all that many points. I sometimes have a protein shake that is 3 SP. It will still be 3 SP.
I have tended to avoid beans and corn most of the time due to points and I will surely eat those more often. But, still right now the only days I eat 7 points in what is now 0 point foods is when I go out to eat. For example, I often eat salmon when I go out and love that it will be 0 point. But, I usually only eat out a couple of days.
This is not meant to be a criticism of this change. Just that I will need to adjust how I eat. I went and looked at last weeks foods and even if I adjusted for 0 point foods I would have been around 30 points a day so having 23 daily points wouldn't have worked well. I could have handled it with both weekly and fit points but still...

Our leader said there'd be a surprise next week. I've been hoping it's a sample of their new wine. Now NatureLover, has me worried it may only be Beano!

It does seem like the old Core program however you get more than the 7 weekly points a day you had on that. If there are 23 points that does indeed let me have my favorite vegetable peas without points and still have 23 points. I am going to like this. Of course I do not like plain yogurt without Splenda. And on Core you had sugar free pudding too. I can make an old standby Peas and tunafish mixed together in a bowl. and heated. the biggest change will be peas and corn. for me.

I had to laugh over on the UK Weight Watchers FB page.....so many complainers over losing daily points. I like how everyone NEVER eats any of the things that are now 0 pts and therefore will not have enough points in a day to eat.
I think everyone is overthinking it. If you think they'll be an issue I would track both the old and new way for a week or two and see how it evens out. If you think you'll overeat in 0 pt foods - continue to weigh/measure.
Always has been complainers everytime the program changes. Don't like the new one? Stick with the old and use an unofficial app to track!
