Good Morning! I was dreaming a crazy dream when I woke up so I'm kind of groggy this morning. We are getting further and further behind in our quotes. Bry send out an email to of us (the girl I walk with and myself) I was the only one doing them again. They WILL eventually get done. Felt good about what I ate yesterday. A little high on carbs, I'm always high on carbs, but overall a good day. Didn't get to walk yesterday, it was raining. Hoping we can go today. While we were on our walk the other day as a woman was passing us in the other direction she said "do you ladies have a dollar" I was suprised because she didn't look in need or homeless she was well dressed. You see all kinds down town.
I've been listening to Cookie Rosenbalms podcasts. There are so many good things on them. I'm concidering canceling my HSM membership as I haven't been listening to those as much. Cookie talks about what is going on in your mind. The self talk that we have with ourselves that affects how we eat and our relationships. The episode yesterday was about the questions we ask ourselves, the ones we SHOULD ask ourselves, the negative questions and the positive ones.......lots of good stuff there. I'm no on a "diet" I'm eating whole, natural foods. I'm finding out what foods affect me, like sugar, I just can't seem to stop eating sweets once I start. I'm avoiding processed foods. Eatting clean. Nothing is off limits I can have a sweet treat if I want one. I'm also figuring out the emotions behind my eating. There are a lot more of them then I thought there were. I'm calling out the emotions to see if I am truely hungry or not. I'm still working on this and what I'm saying to myself.

Sue, I have noticed that with MFP. I'll have to check on what the defaults are. My corn bread put me over in carbs yesterday. That and an apple has 22g of carbs! Go figure. If it comes from fruit I'm ok with it. Wow to your scary commute yesterday morning. Glad things warmed up foryou. Its going up tot eh 60s here too. Crazy weather. I can't believe they increased PA gas taxes again. Taht is crazy you guys pay high taxes as it is. Our gas is at 2.06 The last time we had .45 cents off a gallon so got our 20 gal. Taht was a great deal paid 1.65 a gal.! Taht is a great idea to get up and walk when yo uget that tired. I wish our office or floor was bigger so I could but I just walk to the printer of bathroom when I get that way. Glad you hada nice swim.
Shelly, wow to those difficult customers. Glad you got them taken care of. I would try your link but deleted that app. I'm running out of space on my phone.
Lisa, Hope DD can find something soon.
Carole, that is great you got a new Emanager. I hope he can see through the others in your office. Your attitude is great, just be nice. So glad you got to have some sun on your face. I just move over a little so the sun insnt' shining in my face. I dont' want to close the blinds. I love having the sun shine in.
waves to Gabrielle, Christine, jenny, Nadine. and all to follow. I've got to get my B/L together and get moving.

Morning Jo and all to come...another restless night of sleep for me...I think the wind and driving rain against the windows in the bedroom...kept waking me up, then DH's snoring kept me awake!
WI is up 2#...UGH, lost my "5"....frustrated but just need to keep plugging! Rings are really tight this morning, my sodium has been OK on my tracker so not sure why?? Just need to own, log it and move on! Hope to hit the pool tonight...it's a nice mild day so it won't be too hard to get myself motivated for that!! This is our last mild day...then again the temps drop!!
Waves to everyone yet to come...

Good morning! Leaving a bit early to get to the meeting in Sacramento--plus, I have to stop quickly by the office to pick up something that I told someone I would get (when I saw them at the meeting last night). Oh well, it's nice to have the time in the car--listening to a good show on Sirius or a podcast. Reading about gas prices.....at the "low" point a few months ago, I paid as low as $2.30 a gallon or so. We are almost always above $2.70. It's the "California" way to have more expensive gas....grrr.
Did get on the TM as I knew that I had a day of sitting. VERY busy day yesterday running from one thing to another. But, got a lot done though. Didn't get home till 6:30, but today I should get home sooner. And it's NOT RAINING right now!! Yay!!

Jo: Thanks so much for starting us! Loving reading about how you are thinking about what you are eating, doing your tracking, etc. We had the last of the burrito bowls last night too. Tonight is Shepherds Pie. I had forgotten about the new person being trained and that meaning that you are down another person to help with the entry of tickets....you are right, you just do what you can! I listened to one of the Cookie podcasts and liked it, but felt like I was going to fall asleep because her voice is so calm....I am used to Heather's more "animated" chatty kind of podcast. I will definitely listen to more of them-I can see why you like them. SO glad that you found a good resource! So, how are the kids doing--settled back in school now?
Sue: Wow, sounds like it was a crazy ride to work yesterday! Glad that you had a break in the weather--although it sounds like it is going to be hitting you again this weekend. Only 5 weeks till surgery? You are going to be so healthy, strong, and ready for it! So NJ requires that an attendant pump gas? Oregon has that too---unless it is on a reservation. Loved that about OR! Sounds like you have adjusted your plans to get the swimming in this week--good job! Sounds like Jason is being good about doing his stretching. Maybe he can do it while watching a favorite show at night? That's what I've tried to get DH to do....let me know if that works for you, LOL. I have a fridge with french doors and a freezer on the bottom....we've had it for about 7 years and I love it. It is only our 2nd fridge--the first one had the freezer on the bottom but one door on the top. I really like having the freezer down below!

Carole: I know that today is "major prep" day...hope that you are going strong!
Lisa: Good job getting to the gym! You are right, the timing is key, isn't it? We have a room at the gym called the "Pink Room" and it is smaller, but has a lot of equipment. It's quieter...a lot of people (women especially) like to go there for privacy. I like it because the TV channels are better and it's quieter. Nice to have an option.
Shelly: Wow, I'll bet that you guys take a lot of the blame for customer mistakes! I think that some people can't correct themselves or even laugh at themselves. Sorry that the workouts got cancelled---maybe you can stop by and do the elliptical? Any big plans for the weekend?
Okay, hello to all who follow! I need to get a move on!

Good afternoon! Busy day at work with helping another dept. with recruitment weekend coming up but not getting too crazy where it is too confusing to have more than one person helping. DS texted me and needed his social security card or won't be able to work tomorrow, so we took that to him. Then DH and I had lunch at a new place locally, Scotty's Brewhouse. They actually don't brew their own beer but offer local favorites along with popular domestic and import beers. We didn't have beer, but split a small pizza (I am still working on trying to figure points on that, just figuring on a slim dinner!
I have been printing out more taz stuff for the kid's student loans. Also got my Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University kit...a lot of homework between the 2 classes.
But tonight I need to try and educate myself about working with Google docs...one of the faculty members is using that for sharing visiting student schedules, etc. It looks easy enough but I just need a tutorial on the basics.
My legs are a little sore from the gym yesterday...no pain no gain, right?!?

Guess I have some time now to catch up!
Gabrielle: How did the online tracking go??
Oh yes... no one has any comments about the blinds any longer! Of course it was rainy and dreary all day today! Ugghhh... Sorry for needing the ultrasound... hoping this is the last one you'll need ♥ This is my third colonoscopy... hoping now to move to the 10 year plan!
{{{{{hugs}}}}} as you continue to "Struggle" with DS
Sue: Glad you made it safely to work... I was fine in the car, but walking was a bit "iffy"!
I am truly grateful for my full service station for gas :-)
Shelly: I left work today at 4... took my pills, then at 6 I have to have my 10 bottle of liquid stuff... it's a fizzy sort of lemon flavored drink - not "HORRIBLE" like I hear others talk about... I just "swig" the 10 oz then follow with hot tea... water... seltzer... need to drink 8 oz of something every 1/2 hour... then the trips to the bathroom will get me more steps! LOL
I'll be upstairs... reading/watching TV/dozing... might have a bowl of broth soon too... not sure... drank so much all day I don't feel "hungry"...

LOL Thirsty Thursday... already drank 130 oz of water - and tea today... with more to come!
Will try to track but the MFP won't like me very well tonight! LOL
Jo: Oh My... weird that someone would straight up ask you for money! Sounds like you have the right mindset for this journey... is Cookie's podcast free?
Sue: Sorry for the blip, sometimes we never KNOW where it comes from!! JUst keep on going... it'll be back down next week...
Gabrielle: Another trip to Sacramento? How far is your normal commute??
YAY TO NO RAIN this morning!! LOL Yes... I was going strong at work - but had put in enough OT that instead of getting OT I decided to leave early today!
Lisa: Sounds like a nice day for you today! Never heard of Google docs... good luck!

OK... not much more time... I like to be upstairs (alone) when I get into the nitty gritty of this prep stuff... besides DD and DH are ordering pizza, so I best not be down here for that! LOL
This week has been a tough one - with Debbie out... but I got what I could do done... need to catch up my own stuff next week... accounting called this afternoon, and wanted my month end report tomorrow... I said NOPE... this is what happens when I am out sick - and then covering for someone, my own work suffers... Amanda was out today,,, so she best be in tomorrow... but then again not my problem! Hey - she knew I had tomorrow off before she gave Debbie vacation... she dug her own hole!!
Will probably chat tomorrow before I head out... but for now... calling it a night! ♥hugs♥

Good Evening....Wow what a day. We were busier today then before Thanksgiving or Christmas. Good think we was somewhat ready. We still had milk and had bread until about hour before closing. Well we did still have buns and other kinds of bread but as far as regular bread we was almost out. I'm not sure how much ice they are thinking now but we are suppose to be in a high chance of power outages. Jo hate it when I have those crazy dreams. I was having them the other night and didn't sleep good. Hope the quotes are going better and you are getting closer to catching up. Was you able to get a walk in today? Glad you are enjoying your new podcast. I would say if your not utilizing HSM then why continue to pay for it. Stick with what you are getting something out of. It sounds like this other podcast has been pretty informative for you so stick with it for now. Yes I agree no matter what we decide to follow it is a way of life. Not a diet. And yes I believe for myself if I am not allowed to eat something then that just doesn't work for me because I am going to want it and end up eating more of it then I should. Everything in moderation and learn what isn't very beneficial and use it to treat yourself every now and then. We have pretty good ppl where we live and don't really have that many difficult customers but when it is crazy like it has been then ppl tend to get a little more cranky. As crazy as it was today it went really really smooth. Sue sounds like restless sleep seems to be a theme on this board lately. Looks like we have all been suffering from time to time. Hope tonight is better for you. My WI was not good at all. 2.8#'s this week. I lost my 8's and that made me so mad. I was down in the low 180's just couple months ago. I stayed down through the holidays, was averaging mid 180's or so and now just above 190 I think part of that is the sodium from the ham and beans. I am hoping anyway.

Gabrielle how was your drive today. Hoping it was dry. I am sure with all the driving you have to do you get lots of time to listen to podcast. Our gas prices are around $2.19. We was down around $1.90 I think at one time.
Glad you found time for the TM. You are so good about finding time to get your WO in especially when you know you are going to have a long day on the road or in meetings. No big plans for the weekend. Will be working all weekend. Is suppose to be my Sunday off but working for 2 reasons... first is because the girl that covers for me when I take off, It's her daughters Bday Sunday. Second if it ices like they are saying then there is now way she will be at work anyway. She won't even drive on a couple inches of snow. To busy to make it to the gym. Left long enough to take deposit this morning and refilled some prescriptions this afternoon.
Lisa sounds like you have a lot to do at work. Hope it goes smoothly. Did you enjoy the new restaurant. I didn't really eat today. To busy and then was going to have some soup but just wasn't sure if I was going to keep it down. After I used my oil for my stomach then we was crazy busy I didn't have a chance to eat. I have wanted to read some of Dave Ramsey books and see if I could follow his ideas. I want to be out of debt so bad.
My last workout surprised me because I usually don't get sore at all after my core WO but was a little sore this time. Yes no pain no gain lol

Carole good luck tomorrow with your colonoscopy. I have only had that done once but don't want to have it done again. Glad no one is complaining about the blinds. This time of the year you need the sunlight. Hope they see it that way. Well you have really outdone yourself on the water today Oh yeah I am sure MFP is going to get on to you big time tonight but we do what we have to do... Sorry it's been tough at work this week. Yes with all you have on your plate you do what you have to do and get done what you can. They need to give some stuff to others and not just you. OK need to get some dishes done incase we lose power and I don't have any water. I was going to do laundry but then I got home around 8 I didn't want to start any then. Maybe it won't be so crazy tomorrow and I can get off earlier. I just hope the ice doesn't start early. I am so worried about being without power mainly because of not having water. Hope to be able to catch up tomorrow.
