Whoops! My bad. I "assumed" since there was a break that this was Season 2 of This Is Us. I should know better than to "assume" <LOL> But nonetheless, I was close. Thanks, Chele, for straightening that out. Later .......

Hi girls, I just don't have it 'in me' for personals today. I am exhausted! Have a wicked sinus headache and even my HAIR hurts.
Meeting was PACKED. Guess everyone has the first of the year lose weight thing going on.......
I was up 1# due to stress eating. I DO know that the nibbling isn't going to make the phone call come any quicker. I shall stop that this coming week!
Ciao

Hi Again, I'm back from my shopping trip and lunch. We had a nice time as usual. ksbruns hit the nail on the head--for me, at least. I find it easier to respond when I can check in a few times a day versus when I can only get here late in the day. I certainly like when someone gives me a personal shout out, but as @u21queen said, I don't ever feel slighted if I'm not mentioned. I'm just happy to be part of this group. carolyn0506 it took awhile for my DH to get into This is Us. He kept saying he wasn't into it, and could take it or leave it, but when he saw the commercial for last Tuesday's episode, HE was the one who pointed it out and said "We've got to remember to watch that on Tuesday night!" Like you, I usually watch TV with DH, so I'm glad he got hooked on it. I hope your DH starts to like it better. Enjoy your snow! I saw Portland, Oregon on the news this morning and thought of you. judy709 congrats on losing another pound! You are doing great. I agree that getting rid of the all or nothing thinking is key. Thank you for reminding me of that. suewms thinking of you as you see your PCP this afternoon. You were smart to put everything in writing so he can see what you've been dealing with these past months. Sending hugs to ann1953 and waving to everyone. Carol

Day is done--gone the sun for me at least!~ Headed home and ready for some R&R. I never seem to be able to get any chores done at night, especially the older I get. Dinner and then relaxing.
Carolyn and CeeBee, DH and I don't watch many shows in common at all except Antiques Road Show and some of the nature shows. He has not much attention span for keeping up with stories that go week to week or even when I binge watch them unless it's very compelling. He may be watching a hockey game, and I am watching This Is Us! It's fine though--works well for us! We do like to watch movies together on Netflix or Amazon.
I hope you all have a great night. Ciao for now.

Quick check-in...I have been MEGA productive, my leg hasn't bothered me much, and *miles to go before I sleep*. I did get the Chex Mix made and in the back and will just go ahead and count my serving, LOL, but it definitely could have been worse! judy709 The injections are, supposedly, a lubricant that helps make up for the fact there is no cartilage 😬 So, I'm heading to my ortho in Peabody for the next 3 Fridays. I really like him and presume I'll stay with him until we get this knee taken care of, one way or the other. The other knee is also bad, so might have to find a closer doctor before that! ceebee53 OMG, I forgot Nick Saban was at MSU!, I can just remember my dad never forgiving him for how he left LSU. However, LSU fans make me crazy, so I was always glad to root for 'Bama when they were playing LSU, that just verifies that I'm not very nice. He's obviously a great coach, but... @u21queen Everyone here is so much more evolved than I am! In my grandiose world, everyone is crushed if I don't speak to them by name. Augh. carolyn0506 I always think of Queen Elizabeth when I see a Corgi, too, such an Anglophile. I really haven't been looking for a new TV show, but might have to try some This is Us, with everyone raving. I HAVE been planning to sign back up for Netflix and watch The Queen. I watch most TV with J, but there's a few shows I hoard and are *mine*. "Victoria" starts Sunday on PBS! I'll start looking for my tiara and cape. J thinks he will watch it, since so much of Anglican music was written during her time; he is a historical moron, so I will have to remember that and keep the snarky comments to myself (I am actually doing a LOT better about that, but think J misses them....) suewms Really looking forward to hearing about your appt! I don't think I could ever try the flannel sheets...I have only recently cut off the fan, LOL. Okay, I must keep the roll going and get back to work.

Good Evening, WW Friends ~
I am home and fed and feeling much better (at least mentally). I had a great visit with my PCP. I gave him my (color coded) timeline and he was able to scan and digest it quite quickly. Then when we got to my list of current complaints, he explained how every one of them pointed back to sinus/soft tissue infection. He examined and found throat, ears and chest totally clear (which he suspected). He emailed some Rx's to Meijer Pharmacy for me, but the antibiotic he prescribed I had some at home so he told me to just pick up the new Rx tomorrow. I feel so much better with his reassurance and encouragement. I asked about the "depression" and he glanced down at my timeline and said "You've been sick for four months and a good portion of that with facial/mouth pain; anyone would feel depressed". He did recommend a 20-day course of the antibiotic and a call to him at the 2 week mark. I honestly feel that I am on the road to recovery (yep, I already took one antibiotic after supper).
My improvised beef stew was delicious!! The chuck steak (which DH picked up by accident) turned out very tender when cooked all day in the slow cooker (cubed) and we will definitely make that again. I have one bowl left for my lunch one day. I started the meat this morning, then added the veggies this afternoon, and the peas when I got home from the doctor. YUM!!
My doctor was also very complimentary that I'd lost 10 lbs since my physical in October. I didn't think this was the recommended way to do it <LOL> but he assured me that he knew since I follow WW that I was eating nutritiously and well. What a great reputation we have!! Also my BMI is 25 which for the first time fell within the acceptable range. Yay for me!!
Thank you all, dear friends, for your kind thoughts and prayers and most of all for being so tolerant of my whining and worrying throughout these past weeks (months?) and hopefully we are done for now. It means so much to have somewhere to share, and to ask for prayers, and know it's understood.
I am looking forward to a relaxing evening with DH. He is also very relieved about my doctor's visit today (as you can well imagine). I am looking forward to improved health in the near future.
Good night and sweet dreams to you all, dear friends.
