I like how the new plan isn’t even out in the US yet and I’m already helping people outside the US who say they hate the new plan (and are newbies to the app I use) find the SmartPoints program. It’s really kinda funny. 😄

Haters gonna hate.
I am looking forward to it, too. I'll probably keep doing my version of WW, but it's always fun to see what rolls out and how members react.

I love it...it convinced me to switch to SF....so many zero point foods, 1/3 or 1/2 of the SF list. AFter a thorough overview of the rest of the SF list, I saw that I was already eating the breads, potatoes, rice, yogurt, etc that is on the list. I think it will slow my weight loss a little, as I am still working on portion control, but I am so much more happier not tracking every single thing...just working on trying to identify my feelings of fullness, and making choices

jeanie , I'm confused about the SF list you mention. Have you seen a revised one that goes with the program revision? I'm curious if it contains all of the zero point foods from the "counting" plan plus the foods that were on it before. For instance, does it contain dairy in the form of fat-free milk, cottage cheese, ricotta, etc.

jeanie, The problem for me with Simply Filling is not that I don't eat the foods you don't have to count on SF. I do eat a lot of them. The problem is that I eat more than 28 points a week of foods that are required to be counted. I eat about 5 points of healthy nuts every day, for example. I tried SF and was miserable because 28 points a week was not enough for the non-SF foods that I regularly eat. And, I am talking about mostly healthy foods.

I don't see why the SF list would take away those dairy items, just by adding more lean protein...can't be sure until the 3rd though

If skim milk has dropped off of the SFT food list I can imagine some folks will be upset. I know they dropped Fat Free Half & Half with SmartPoints or before that, and that would have made a difference for me.

When I saw the title of this post, I thought to myself, how can you desert something that hasn't even been released?
Agree with Kitty, when the weekly points were 49 for everyone, SF was very doable. Now that a lot of ladies only get 21-28, it turns into a very unlivable plan unless you're going to eat all your meals at home.

Roz That's what I have found, but never realized it until I just read what you wrote. It is very livable when I only eat at home, but going out, set's me up for a downward spiral every time, and it should not be like that.

It was on Points Plus, but nevertheless I found myself basically tracking everything. I love pb&j with milk. OK, I can do without the j, but the pb on multi-grain w/ 2% milk (I cannot stand 1% or nf) packs a points wallop.

I originally read the title as "New Plan Desserts".

Just from what I've heard/read, it doesn't seem to be that big of a change. WW already emphasizes lean proteins and less sugar - that seems to be what they will stick with.
I won't see the new changes until Thursday, December 7th... my WI day.

This is soooooo where I wanna be when I grow up ! I was just thinking the other day, especially now that I am back, knowing the fact that I can never have e-tools ( and I won't pay for the rest of my life) that with this new plan I am confident that at some point I will be able to do this without a tracker.
