And I totally agree.... THE program for me was Core..... Once it went to SF it never really worked for me. I always kept the once a day rule and with 49 points it was all possible. On 28 I was in the hole and feeling like a failure by day 3, thus the mindset to start my week over, resetting my points and looking to be the perfect poster girl which never worked

Absolutely agree with Rene. I did best on the old Core plan...took off 80 pounds that way. When the big change to Smart Points came 2 years ago, I found the sugar penalty at the holidays completely derailed me. With only 21-28 weeklies, I was going through them so quickly that I switched to tracking and counting so I could fit in some treats. That started a downward spiral to poor food choices but keeping within my allotted dailies. Not sure how I will do with whatever the new plan will be but I miss the old core plus 49 option. My weigh in day is Saturday so will be one of the last to officially switch over. Will be watching the boards to see how it goes on Dec 3

reneinitaly, debsback, I looked, and found the old Core list of foods, aside from the weeklies, what are the differences in core and sf? Are there some foods that were on core, that are not SF approved? Thanks

Yes, the food lists changed when Core switched to SF. Certain FF foods: evaporated skim and FF half and half. We could also use FF SF pudding mixes. Certain foods were limited to 1 time a day: rice, pasta. Bread even light breads were not allowed. Here's a link to the original Core list: www.weightwatchers.com/images/1033/dynamic/GCMSImages/US_CoreFoodList.pdfWe were allowed 35 WP then.

I left Core when avocado had to be pointed! That was the *deal breaker* for me with SFT. Priorities! I was actually completely happy on P+, so it didn't matter to me.

People won't be happy until weight loss is totally predictable and magical. How many rebelled against SP and then later decided to give it a try? How many rebel against every new plan. Change is hard unless you are allowed unlimited amounts of the indulgences you want.

Audrey- I agree to a certain point... smart points will go down in history as the most hated program ( aside from liver ).

debsback, I still can't wrap my head around smart points. I even went to itrackbites to follow PP. The new changes is what is bringing me back. I too lost 75 on Core and there I truly could have been a poster girl. I found it extremely easy to follow and I was never frustrated. For me, trying to do todays program ( not next weeks, but todays) with SF sets me up for the head position as total failure. It has always made me feel inadequate, and I am just realizing that it wasn't my fault, just not the right program for me. Getting beyond the fact that I truly adore WW, the thing I adore is the community. No community is like WW's. I have done Dukan and South Beach with FB group support.... omg, cyberbullying and fat shaming in a double whammy. Sends chills down my spine just remembering

Uh...I think I hate Liver more than SmartPoints 1! ...trying to do todays program ... with SF sets me up for the head position as total failure. Seems like with SP 1 WW created a different kind of fat shaming (and sugar shaming, too).

zazzles The fat and sugar shaming when SP came out was painful to read. I remember one girl getting bashed for eating yoplait yogurt. 😣

I would just like to find out if having the new written materials will be enough to understand the "new" program. I'm not sure when I'll get in to a meeting to weigh in and pick them up so I'm not sure if I'll be there for the big roll out. Hoping to hear from someone who attends a meeting next week to get the scoop.

jeanie thanks for the info I am going to stick with my current plan with a local nutritionist I am on day 138 and weigh less than I have ever weighed on years of WW What makes a difference is for the initial flat fee of about $175 I am accountable to her every single day and she gives me daily feedback on the good, bad, and ugly (last weekend). When I had the Thanksgiving weekend gain, she gave me specific ways to get rid of it quickly and I am down 2.4 from Friday of last week. On WW with a once a week WI I could play with the points, coast a few days and get serious the others and my weight would yo yo. irisinnia getting bashed for eating yoplait will not make the "abuser" stick to a plan. Everyone on this board gives kind honest advice for how these plans work for them. Many have maintained wonderfully on PP, SP or other plans. Right now I need the daily feedback because these are the days of daily temptations.
