Hello gang! I've returned to dreary NJ after being up in very exciting Massachusetts. So great to see so many friends again and enjoy the time together. Really was lots of fun!
I ate tons of fish and the evil scale says I'm still in the safe zone! Looking forward to the new program to get my eating pattern set to a healthy setting. Holiday foods are so tempting!
Busy day planned --pool/gym (excited to being able move again!) then movie date with friends followed by 'dessert gathering'. Hope to drink tons of water so I can just nibble on a few goodies!
Need to catch up on everything that's been going on!
Have a great day everyone.

Happy Tuesday! I am feeling better. I was able to eat 3 meals yesterday! Food poisoning is the way to go to lose some weight that's for sure (ok, I'm kidding)!! Still taking it easy on the food for a few more days. hpeterson1951, I had to google bullet journaling! It looks interesting, but I don't think I could do it. I hope you all have a GREAT day! Positive energy to all!

So of course I had to google it, too! Probably not exactly my kind of thing but I'm sure it would be good for others. I'm thinking of starting a blog --mostly for my feelings and emotions. I want to do it online and keep it private for now. Writing in a journal/book seems like too much exposure for my thoughts! Glad you feel better neen, Have to read back to find out what happened.

I can barely keep up with the board, much less journal! I thought I would have so much extra time when I retired, ha ha
I'm taking my girlfriend to Ikea today, she has never been there. (I feel sorry for her because her daughter kind of ignores her) We are eating lunch there and I've figured out the points for the Swedish meatballs. Then come home and do some cleaning. Dinner is going to be Turkey leftovers since DH is going out for a big lunch.

hpeterson1951, I love "looking" at all the different ways to bullet journal, but I have never done it. I have severe OCD, it would drive me bonkers if I did not get everything perfect on the page lol...but I have thought about it quite often. It would take months for me setting up a plan, key, notes, etc just before starting. lolol But I know a lot of people that do it, and they love it. pbnj, neen, morning! have a great day!! lmenglish, husband said the same thing, about retiring, he's busier now than ever I think lol... he had retired before we met to take care of his aunt, and that we are married and a 10 and a 15 year old came along with me lol, he's always running around If i missed anyone while posting, have a great day to all that come after this post as well!

They look so pretty, but I just think I'd go crazy if mine didn't look like that. I might scribble something, or I might just keep drooling over others.

Good afternoon peoples!! I was up at 4 am, decided to do my Fly thing, listened to a podcast and exercised. I think I will sleep well tonight Pat- I can't wait either till Sunday. Although I am "doing it" , it will feel clearer when my numbers match theirs with no loose ends ! Glad you're home safely and you had fun. Heather- I "BuJo" or bullet journal. My style, I don't design well and I minimalize as much a possibile. Very very easy to get sucked into all the gurus, pens, planners, washi tapes.... lots and lots of money. In fact if I were to open a new activity today, I would do something in this area. I started with a Leurchtturm 1917, but ditched it because they are costly and I can't rip pages out. Now I go with super cheap I do use mine though daily, setting things to do, remember, appointments, moods, and keep track too of food and activity. I did more on paper when I wasn't paying WW. It's my last 10 minutes in bed before I go to sleep, considered "me time". I do love it. I made my own midori which I don't use as much, but I think I will pull it out now that I am tracking on the app. Neen, so glad you are feeling better!!!! Linda. IKEA..... oy oy!! we have one close by here, the only place where I have ever had a panic attack... on a sunday. place is always packed! Cute stuff, but I have to go in with a mental budget and limit.

Morning all! Welcome back Pat and thank you for kicking us off! 🤗 Glad you are feeling better neen! Off to google bullet journaling after I call Firestone. Ugh. So the back rear brake was making a noise, I take it in, guy says 300 something. Then he calls, front brakes need replaced too, 700 something, then late last night I get another call, brakes keep locking up, calipers and something else 1,000 something. I *may* have gotten my Irish up at this point. Ohhmmmmmm. Have a wonderful day everyone and if you hear a news story about a woman losing it at a TX Firestone and being committed, just remember, you heard it here first! 🤣

reneinitaly,- My very first journey into Bullet Journaling might just be a spiral notebook with pretty pens. I do like to write and colored pens and pencils. I might just scribble something but it won't look anything like what is on Pinterest

Good morning all.
Bullet journaling reminds me so much of a time management system named Time Manager which is paper-based, proprietary, and still sold and used today. The difference is that TM is sold as a system, usually to companies, and the company sells all of the pre-printed forms and binders to contain them. Very effective system. But I wouldn't want to do it the bullet journaling way where I had to do so much work to set up and maintain the system.
The morning was chilly enough to light the fireplace, and I'm enjoying sitting next to it while I get my morning started slowly.
I've had my baked egg with 2% American cheese on half a toasted English muffin, pineapple, and coffee.
Very soon I will launch myself and head to the library. Today is the last Tuesday I'll volunteer there, at least for a while, since the foundation cannot seem to recruit and retain qualified volunteers and it is just to much work for the two of us who are long-time volunteers. But I'll still work with my dedicated group of friends on Fridays.
I'm aggravated with MoviePass.com. It is one of those companies that shields itself from customers by requiring all customer service communications to be done through an on-line web system and then ignores all communications.
I signed up for a subscription a week ago, and I received my card yesterday. However, the system fails to recognize my login via my email address and won't even send me a password reset email, so I am unable to log into their iPhone app and activate my membership.
I'm in a quandary as to what to do about it, because the only thing I can think of is to call the bank and have them reverse the credit card charge.
I'll ponder it another day or two. I really would like to have the membership and the ability to see a moving in a theater any and every day for a year!
I guess that's it for the moment. Wishing everyone a great day.
