Morning all... I'm up early as I have a fun day planned. Off the the 'Outlets' in Pennsylvania with a group of gals. Lots of laughs and giggles along the way. I don't need a thing--not much of a shopper these days--but am going for the camaraderie.
Yesterday a bunch of us gals went to see "Orient Express"... while I was not enamored with it, I fell in love with the song sung after the credits by Michelle Pfeiffer--had to download it. After the movie we went to one of the gals homes for 'dessert'. Ugh! That should have been outlawed!!
Hope everyone has a great day! I'll need to catch up later.

pbnj,- which outlets are you going to? I'm surrounded by outlet malls down here. Have fun Deb-So sorry to hear about your car. I've got a head cold and my voice is fading in and out. SO, of course, I'm supposed to videotape my puberty presentation! they have no one registered but thought I could come in and videotape it just for training purposes. I'll wait and see how the day goes, but seriously thinking about asking if we can videotape another time. I sound like a frog and look like Rudolph with my red nose

hpeterson1951, Heather, we are heading to Lancaster. I've never been there . When I lived and worked in PA it was in Centre & Mifflin Counties.

pbnj,I took my friend to Ikea just for the camaraderie! So nice to not be in a hurry this am. I would like to do the pound class at the Y, but they only offer it once a week and I was so sore for 3 days I'm not sure it is worth it when they only offer it once a week. So off to Best Buy, the mall and Walgreens to remake some old photos off my parents for my kids

Morning everyone! Thanks for kicking us off Pat, enjoy your day of shopping! So the good news is, no bail money was involved yesterday. Yes it was rotors too doordie50. Something about caliper was stuck and so rotor was bad, blah blah blah BACON blah blah I don’t know it was all Greek. Love the new pic zazzles, what a cutie! Feel better hpeterson1951. 🍜 Have a great day everyone, I know you are all going to be green with envy as I head off to Lowes to pick out toilet paper holders and guest towel rings, that kind of fun stuff. Now now don’t be sad you can’t come, I promise to have enough fun for everyone! 🤣

Good morning all. Typical work day today (although I've spent the morning alternating between work and online shopping...sshh, don't tell). I decided to just do all my holiday shopping online this year to avoid having to go to the stores. I've just got too much to do on the weekends to deal with shopping. I might go to a local craft market and a cute local toy store to get some stuff for Toys For Tots, but I think that's it. DebDoesWW, I don't understand the car stuff either but I hope it didn't cost a fortune! And it's amazing to think how much stuff you have to buy when starting over. It must seem never-ending. Sending xoxo. Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning All My crazy cats don't want me to post today I swear! After running right across my keyboard while typing, their rough housing wreaked havoc on my coffee cup and a plant. Adorable! DebDoesWW , Ugh, I'm sorry about the car. I was going to say something about how great the place will look with all new stuff and remembered that none of this was a choice you made. It's quite another story. (((Deb))) pbnj , Have fun at the outlet stores. I know people that make Lancaster an annual tradition for the great shopping. zazzles I didn't realize your avatar was Missy - she's beautiful! hpeterson1951, feel better! Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all.
Thanks for all the compliments on Missy's picture. I told her about all of your kind words last night; I think her head got even bigger overnight. Hope it doesn't make her even more demanding and impossible. 😉 🐱
Off the the 'Outlets' in Pennsylvania with a group of gals. I'm surrounded by outlet malls down here. Have fun Do your outlet malls have any non-clothing/accessory/shoe stores? We only have a few outlets across the extended Bay Area, and every store that doesn't sell apparel and accessories disappeared years ago (except the Corning outlet). I used to enjoy traveling around to outlet malls; but, sadly, there's no longer any "there there."
Not a lot going on here at the moment. DebDoesWW, I was thinking about a trip to Lowe's a few minutes before I read of your outing there today. Good luck with that. I do prefer Lowe's stores to Home Depot in terms of merchandise displays; I think it is much easier to make aesthetic decisions there. My trip, if I go, will be to scout out some more outdoor Xmas decor. Last year I used a couple of those laser light shows that I got 50% at the previous year's end of season sale. I must have packed them safely away last year, because I CANNOT find them! Most of my mesh lights bit the dust, at least partially; I bought some new ones this year, but they do not seem to be the same size as stated on the box, so they don't cover what I'm used to. I still mourn the double-helix rope-light christmas tree (red & green) that I had for over a decade before it gave up the ghost. Nobody makes anything like that any more.
Aside from the possible trip to Lowe's, I have lunch planned with a friend. Breakfast was very light—and I'm not sure any meal can be light enough to compensate for a trip to Red Robin! I hope everyone has a great day!

pbnj,_ I am about 45 minutes away from those outlets! We got there all the time. zazzles,- most of our outlets still have kitchen and cookware stores. My things with the outlets is I really want a deal, some of them to me are just regular stores. Some do have deals, but some just aren't as cheap as I'd like, DebDoesWW,- I read your post fast and I read that your "caterpillar" on the car was broken. I had to really look at that for a minute

Busy work day for me. I went to water aerobics before work and will walk at lunch. My plan is to set-up the tree tonight and maybe some outdoor lights since it is unusually balmy here in Wisconsin.
Have a great day all!

pbnj , susiq25679 , hpeterson1951 , ksbruns , lmenglish , DebDoesWW , borntexan , 100gone , doordie50 , zazzles , chessielover , reneinitaly , Good morning all!! I'm IN! Believe it or not, got todays homework done yesterday. I get a somewhat day off, from deadlines anyway, will start on some future due work later today. Actually get to go out of the house, not a big fan of that, but hubby and are going to grab a quick lunch at Subway - yes, I'm a Subway lover lol - it is the easiest eating out place for me to stay on plan and within range without too many temptations. It's the little things....lunch date with hubby while 10 and 15 are in school, no homework deadline today, computer time for silly things and not staring at my classes, homework assignments, word and excel documents, case studies, or hours of video classes. I go to a local community college, well, 30 minutes away from the sticks, and am fortunate that they offer most of their classes online. That is a huge stress reliever for a social anxiety person and introvert I only have to go on campus for the occasional proctored tests in the testing center and to meet with my advisors. Sorry to be stuck on the college thing, but one of the cool things is my community college is a hub for a couple of 4 year, masters universities. So, I am able to take my AAS classes and bachelor classes at the same time... funny thing, I won't get my AAS until summer of '19, but I have so many credits, and the bachelors I am transferring into, will take a lot of extra classes from my AAS degree, not just the core ones, but the specialized tech classes - I'll be able to tranfer 75 to 77 hours into the BAT degree, and get it one year after I get my associates. I love that !!! And one more boring college note, I will also be able to obtain my master's from the community college as well through the university center hub that contracts with one of the upper grad schools. This is huge to me. Being 42, a mom, and not being able to afford the only 4 year university near me - it is a private university, I will be able to get the BAT and the masters all without relocating. So, technology does have some good things lolol Take care you all! Have a great day!!!
