Good Morning I have a 6 month check up with my PCP at 10 and am being lazy, not walking this morning. I want to finish the rest of the decorating. pbnj have a great trip to the outlets zazzles I pulled out my Christmas coasters and trivets from Wm Rogers, a Gilroy outlet buy. Can't tell you how much I bought discounted from Lenox, Mikasa etc. over the years. Now when I go to Gilroy, I basically go to Janie and Jack for discounted clothes for the grandchildren and the nearby Kate Spade. Not sure if the high end outlet is still good near Palm Springs but I bought a black Burberry trench coat there more than 10 years ago saving more than $300 and it is as good as new. Burberry replaced the belt buckle that had worn over the years and I had no charge for the replacement. Those were the days.... jeanie my son was required to have equivalent of 4 years of a foreign language when he got an English degree from UCLA He is slightly dyslexic. He had 3 years of high school French but could not go farther. He had 2 years of Japanese at Fresno State as a high school student but could not go farther. On line classes saved him. He took his first 2 years on line through Berkeley and I had one of my high school students tutor him. He could not do Spanish 3 on line but went instead to Grenada in Spain through a UCLA summer program and I think his professors felt sorry for him and passed him for Spanish 3. After his graduating class, that requirement was dropped. My neighbor's daughter was a Marine but switched to the Navy for better career advancement and she too did her MA on line to become a hospital administrator. She did something similar as you and went to the university issuing the degree for her final exams.

Good morning, or oops, good afternoon! We left the house really early for a dental appointment for DH and then shopped at Costco and our local grocery store. Finally home and got things unpacked. Where does the time go?! DebDoesWW happy shopping at Lowe's. I'm hoping you're getting to the end of picking things out and maybe the end is near. Thinking of you and your family. (((Hugs))) pbnj hope you have fun shopping with your friends today. Every morning when I turn on the Today Show I'm shocked at the next person who has lost a job due to harassment of some sort. Sad that this has gone on so long. I hope this turns out positively for people and I'm applauding the people who found the courage to step forward. I always say "innocent until proven guilty" but it does sound like Matt Lauer (and his attorneys) have accepted blame. There were rumors for years about him which just fuels the tabloids I see in the grocery store. What a year this has been! And, I think there will be more "news" along this line yet to come!

It's late.
I'm IN.
DayJob is pithing me off mightily.
Eating the fridge (shelves, doors, and all) is not the answer.

Heading out to workout. I’ll also get a walk in. Ready to start decorating this weekend. No shopping trips planned. I’ll get things on line and from local shops. Have a great day everyone.

Audrey, with all the kitchen stores closed (except Corning-Revere, which we have at the Great Mall, Milpitas), there are only two things that draw me to the Gilroy outlets: the Tesla SuperCharger, for which I have lifetime free charging, and the restroom, which I seem to need to use by the time I drove from Santa Clara to Gilroy. After making a pit stop, I then continue on to Monterey and Carmel, or over 152 to Gustine (Pea Soup Andersen's is a favorite place for lunch).

Good morning all.
Thanks for all the compliments on Missy's picture. I told her about all of your kind words last night; I think her head got even bigger overnight. Hope it doesn't make her even more demanding and impossible. 😉 🐱
It keeps coming up PBNJ but I'm the one with a Missy I also have a Missy - she is a very prissy, black polydactyl.

I survived the auction by going for a walk.Actually this one wasn't as bad as the last one I went to.Our calf was one of the last ones to sell however. We did get a good price for him so it was well worth it.

jeanie,- congrats on all the hard work of college and being able to earn your BA and also your MA. I went straight through and did not have the responsibilities of a family, house, job, etc. I have always admired those who go to college when they are juggling all of those responsibilities. Way to go!

So this was interesting. I went to lunch with a friend at a Seasons 52. I ate carefully (half flatbread and a greens salad). They asked if we wanted dessert and I was immediately going to say no since restaurant dessert are usually well over 1000 calories, sometimes over 1500.
But my friend said she wanted one and I found out they have mini desserts there. They start at about 260 calories. I got one that was 310 calories. I thought to myself that I really wish more restaurants did that. It was the perfect size for me. My meal ended up at 750 calories (estimated to be 23 SP on new program, 25 on current program). I haven't yet used any weekly points this week (week started on Sunday) and I've rolled over several points so I still have a lot left for dinner tonight. But, having that dessert was really nice and something I can easily do and stay within my plan for the day.

Kitty , I survived lunch with a friend at Red Robin today. Before I left the house I though to check their web site menu and NI. And I discovered they have a "Wedge Burger" which is just a lettuce-wrapped burger. It comes with bacon and guacamole, but I had those left off and had American cheese added (I'd rather spend the calories on the cheese). My friend always wants onion rings, which I enjoy, so I planned for 3, and opted to have their coleslaw instead of their bottomless garden salad because I didn't want to spend points on dressing. The coleslaw was great: a mustardy dressing that was not really sweet. I was quite full and satisfied and couldn't have contemplated dessert even if they had had reasonable ones. The meal came in 24 points, but I had a 4 point breakfast so all was well in that department. I had 18 points left and that was enough for a soup dinner, some greek yogurt and a WW mini toffee bar.

zazzles, I'm impressed. I enjoy Red Robin but it is hard for me to eat at (and, wow, they have great onion rings). If I get out of there for less than 40 points I'm happy....

Kitty - I love Seasons 52. Yes, their mini desserts make it possible to enjoy a treat without breaking the bank. Wow. Good job Mike!
