Hi all, Just could not think of a fancy title for today.
Voice is still fading in and out. Cough seems a little better, but now throat is just raw from all the coughing and sneezing. Lots of hot tea and liquids.
Have a good day everyone

hpeterson1951, UGH! feel better soon! Nothing too exciting to report here! It's still quiet in the office (this is why I come into work at 7 a.m.)! Here's to hoping it stays this way (yes, I know I just jinxed myself)! LOL Last night I thought Belle was going to jump up in my lap! She will come up to me and let me pet her and such, and then all of a sudden she put her front paws on my lap! I tried to get her to jump into the chair with me but she wouldn't! Crazy dog! Oakie is good and the kitten is good. Still crazy as always! WI later today! I THINK I'm the same as I was the week before Thanksgiving. The 3 lbs I lost from being sick has come back (funny how that happens when you can eat again)! Oh well, if it's not a gain, I will take it! I'll report back this afternoon! I hope you all have a GREAT day! Positive energy!

I took the day off today! My son is a driver for UPS and this is the time of year he puts in long days so I am spending the day with my granddog, Luna. She is the Chesapeake Bay retriever in my avatar (now 2 years old). We will take a couple of long walks today. Other than that, I plan to get some homework done, finish Christmas decorating, and make supper (Mongolian Beef). I love the buzz on the new plan. I am eager to try it and I think it will require a fair amount of adjustment. From what I can tell, the potential to overdue zero point foods is there and will require mindfulness to satiety (not my strength!) and overall calories. As a long-term WW member, I have been through this change many times. All of the plans require tweaking what works for you. I will WI on 12/11 (Saturday) and hopefully will be back at goal by then. My meeting is pretty spirited, so the comments should be interesting. hpeterson1951, keep getting better! neen, good luck on the WI. Have a great day, everyone!

I'm IN.
And hoping for a better DayJob experience (although not holding my breath).
I'll weigh for December on Saturday 12/2 and am considering attending a 12/3 meeting to get my materials and hear about the plan updates (and then go on 12/9, too, to hear MY leader's spin on it all).
🍂🐿️🌲🍂🐿️🍂🐿️🌲🍂🐿️ Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🍂🐿️🌲🍂🐿️🍂🐿️🌲🍂🐿️

Good afternoon everyone!
Heather, hope you feel better soon, take care of yourself! Neen, you're so right about those fast losses that come back. Same thing happened to me after my vocal chords operation. Our bodies are smarter than we think!
Chessie.- I liked the way you mentioned how all the programs need to be tweaked for the individual , very true, and something I hadn't thought about.
Diva, nice that you have different meeting options!
Regarding me, all is well. I did play with the new plan a bit, but am more than willing to wait the few more days to read about it and learn how to do it well. Patience has never been my strong suit, and I am trying to be better about that. Not waiting sometimes can ruin a good thing, and honestly I think I have the highest hopes I have had in WW with this new twist on smart points since 2004/2005 and core. I truly don't want to ruin it.

Good morning, Friends, lots to do here for some reason, so I'm up and at 'em. Acupuncture this afternoon, whee!!
I'm planning on weighing in tomorrow for the month, but going to a meeting Sunday AM to get the materials...always like a hard copy. I'm not particularly excited but since I made enough sense of SP to be able to use the tracker, I presume I can do it again. 👣👣👣 The U.S. program has never been completely like the U.K. so I haven't done any exploring.
Have a good one!

Good morning all! It's beautiful fall weather here although most of you would say it's too warm. I'll take it anyway. I've enjoyed reading about the new program too but haven't changed anything on the computer to look ahead. For me, I don't think the changes will be that dramatic. I think working with the SP program 2 years ago showed me that I will have to pay attention and work with it. I'm hopeful the new plan will be more workable for me and I will enjoy it more. Time will tell! DebDoesWW, thinking about you while you make your decisions. Let us know what you finally settle on. You could become personal shoppers for all of us! LOL! hpeterson1951, hope you feel better soon. neen, Belle has made such a great adjustment living with you. You're a great fur mom! chessielover, I love my UPS delivery man. Hugs to DS during this season. We're starting to have packages stolen off of porches in the Houston area and I worry about the drivers. Not sure how to stop it. reneinitaly, I've enjoyed your insights about the new program. I'll be interested to hear if the program is different in Italy. ksbruns, enjoy your acupuncture session. I assume it has helped you; I've never tried it. Have a great day, everyone.

I'm in. My Missy-girl always plays 2nd and 3rd fiddle to the more photogenically active Charlie and Jack-A$$. It's her time to star. Feel better Heather. I am at the early stages and hoping to nip it in the bud. Hi Neen, Chessie, MJ, Deb, Kathy, Linda Rene - I am also trying to be patient. A friend in the know has already told me a good deal and I know what my points are dropping down to but I want to wait until I have all the information to judge.

Good morning all. susiq25679, love the picture of Missy! DebDoesWW, good luck shopping! I'm looking forward to the new plan because I certainly haven't been following the current one! I dared to get on the scale today after a week of eating. So many people brought or sent food to my house after my mom's funeral and it was extremely kind of them. I'm still eating the cookies, pastry, cheese, and pasta but it's just about gone. So the timing of the new plan should work for me. I'm looking forward to making some of my favorite bean & veggie soups to get started. Have a good day everyone!

Good Morning hpeterson1951 Heather, I hope you feel better. I use choralseptic throat spray or a cough syrup when my throat feels raw like that. I had a good 6 month checkup yesterday. Filled out a 7 page waste of time questionnaire because we are actually signing up for Medicare today to be effective Jan 15 when my husband’s compensation plan ends. My favorite question asked if I needed help shopping for groceries. Yes, I could use help with lots of things but that won’t happen My son works with EMRs and said most of the data can’t be used for them. Someone is paid to compile statistics on us elderly. Beautiful crisp day so I better walk before the day goes by...

Morning all. It is a beautiful fall morning here, too. Nice to seem some blue sky and sunshine for a change. I'm in a bit of a fog this morning after having a fitful night of sleep. The BS was heading too low at 1:30 AM and required sugar therapy just to keep it at the bottom of my acceptable range. There seems to be a BS sweet spot range where I sleep very well; figuring out how to be there overnight is a challenge. It is a day without plans, so I will take it easy. I seem to have gotten the MoviePass problem resolved, so a movie later on is a possibility. hpeterson1951 , sorry you're still suffering. Hope you bet the virus back soon. neen , hope you see at least a small loss at weigh-in. Belle's behavior is interesting. Does she jump up on things at other times? My cat has been a poor jumper since kittenhood; I actually had to teach her to jump on the sofa when she was a kitten, and she never developed good jumping skills. She had a brother who was a great jumper, and I swear that she would spot something she wanted on the table or kitchen counter and tell him to jump up and push it off—that went on all the time! DebDoesWW , decisions, decisions. Hope you're not agonizing over them too much. But glad to hear it'll be done by the end of the day and you can move on to other parts of the projects. Yes, I could use help with lots of things but that won’t happen My son works with EMRs and said most of the data can’t be used for them. Someone is paid to compile statistics on us elderly. Audrey, welcome to the world of Medicare. And you can look forward to that ridiculous questionaire annually. As I discovered this year, doctors seem to have latitude in presenting the questions. The first year I filled it out I felt as you do—ridiculous, open-ended questions. I especially liked the one about depression—simply something like, "Do you ever suffer from depression." Well, duh, who doesn't. So answering truthfully led to some time spent on discussing that. I noticed this year that he changed the wording to include a parameter for frequency, something like, "Have you been depress for more than 3 times a week?", or something like that. Medicare also has some new statistics gathering wrinkle that has been imposed on some providers. My Endocrinologist has gotten hit by that one. He has to monitor at least one of three things every time I visit, and the way Medicare gathers the data is by requiring him to submit a billing with a specific code and a cost of $0.01. Naturally, the first time I received the Medicare summary of benefits listing a couple of these codes with a cost of a penny I assumed a gigantic error and called his office to complain, only to have it explained to me. (Note to doctor: up-front explanations are helpful to your patients!)
Well my 2nd cuppa is almost gone, so it is time to put myself in forward motion. I hope you all have a great day.

Yesterday was a fabulous day of outlet shopping and Pennsylvania food! I lost any incentive to do WWwhen shoo fly pie appeared !! Reminiscent of teaching days in Amish/Mennonite country. Yum
Today is another great day. Granddaughter has half day and we’ll be cookie baking soon!! More yum!

zazzles the questions about depression would be important if someone read and responded to them. I am skeptical about this need for so much data. Why do they need to know my nationality? Are they checking to see if I am an illegal immigrant? Does being Latvian, Hungarian and Romanian pose a threat to national security or can they trace back ailments to my ancestors? I think a lot of the questions are pure BS.
