Based on the seats sold in my neighboring theaters it appears my daughter and I may be the only ones there!

The movie? If so I hadn't even realized it was being re-released to theaters.
Okay, I went and checked it out. Titanic is being released to 87 AMC theaters for one week. We don't even have any AMC theaters where I live which is probably why I had no idea this was being done.

I've very excited for it. Saw it twice in the theater the first time it came out. Now it's remastered and being released in the Dolby Sound theaters where your seats rumble with the action.

I hated the actual plot of that movie (my guess is I wasn't supposed to be hoping that Rose would die) but I loved watching the shipwreck - it was so cool back then and I think it has held up pretty well. I'm glad I saw it in the theatre.

(my guess is I wasn't supposed to be hoping that Rose would die) but I loved watching the shipwreck Wildcat- Not sure why but that made me actually laugh out loud! My DH refused to see it because as he says "the boat still sinks". I've never really seen the whole thing. My dad was a very big Titanic historian- we were glued to the TV when Bob Ballard sent the unmanned sub down to find the remains. So I really didn't want to see a fictionalized account. I can be a bit of a history snob
