This is a monthly thread for those of us who have a lot of weight to lose. The definition of “a lot” is something that is determined personally, so everyone who feels they have a lot of weight to lose is welcome to post here.
Please join us in offering support, checking in for accountability, help with questions, etc. We’re in this for the long haul.
We’d also love to hear from those of you who are maintaining a large loss. We need those tips to help us to keep the weight off once we lose it.

Good morning
Sorry for being MIA. I didn't realize it was so many days not checking in.
cj59, you are strong and doing good. I know how challenging it can be. Don't give up. You don't want to be where I am.
leesa, I hope your son is doing well with the driving. WTG on your loss.
I am struggling. I got a facial yesterday and when the lady handed me a mirror to look at my skin all I could see was a fat face. I hate looking at myself. Why I cannot make the click to lose weight I don't know. Sorry to be a downer.

Hi Everyone -
I'm new to the board, not new to WW. I'm thinking of rejoining. I lost 70+ pounds 13 years ago after my second pregnancy. I've put back on about 25, maybe 30 . . . not sure, could be 35. Anyway, I'm thinking of rejoining this weekend. Get my ducks in a row and get a jump on the New Year resolutions. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Hope this was the right place to post.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well
sunrose - I'm glad to hear your are O.K. Don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure you looked wonderful after the facial. Good luck with getting back on track, I know you can do it. I'm always scared I'll get off track and not being able to get back. It's a constant struggle.
Welcome momof2teenagersandahubby - We'd love to have you posting in our thread. I hope you'll like the new program and can lose the weight you want too.
I'm doing the old WW Momentum program on my own. I started in 2015 and have lost over 150 pounds and now I'm working on maintaining.
The new program does sound interesting and I think it will work well for many people. Unfortunately for me, most of the 0 point foods are ones I don't like that much. But it sounds like it's going to be a lot easier than all the counting of points that I do.
This is a great message board and there are lots of helpful people here, I hope you'll enjoying posting.

Good morning
cj59, you have done so well on Momentum. I am looking forward to hearing about the new program tomorrow.
momof2teenagersandahubby, welcome to the group! Hope you are able to rejoin WW. Put the brakes on now. They are starting a new program tomorrow. Hope you keep checking in here.
Working the steps, tomorrow will really start trying to work the new program. I know cj59, I am so hard on myself.
Waving to all

Hello Everyone - hope you are enjoying the weekend and doing well on your plans sunrose - Hope you enjoyed the meeting and information about the changes to Smart Points. Let us know what you think. I had a rough eating day yesterday, just completely out of control eating all day. I'm doing better today but really fighting the urge to overeat. At least I've still stuck with getting in my healthy foods, exercise and water. And I've mostly been tracking what I'm eating - even yesterday. I'm hoping to get this out of my system today so I can start tomorrow (my start day each week) strong and back on track.

I had another off track day yesterday and today is shaping up to be one. Fortunately I'm hanging on to some of my good habits - water, exercise, tracking, healthy foods. But I'm eating a bunch of junk too. I'm hoping I can get back on track soon. Hope everyone else is doing well with their plans

Hi all Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Well, I weigh in and was down 3 lbs. For a total of 40 lbs loss. Of course I now have to drop a daily, but that's how it goes. I am hanging in there and sticking to my points. I really want to go horse back riding this summer, which is new long term goal for me this summer. A couple years ago while visiting Kentucky I needed my friend to ride with dd, because I was over weight. This year I want to go! sunrose49, Thanks for the well wishes with ds getting his license and don't be so hard on yourself (((hugs))) cj59, (((hugs))) hang in there and don't give up.

leesa - Congratulations on a 40 lb loss!!! That takes a lot of hard work, I'm sure you feel a lot better too. I love your goal of going horseback riding next year, I know you can do it sunrose - Hope things are going well for you. Have you started using the new program? Please let us know what you think about it. I'm still struggling and have been overeating too. I'm counting it as a success that I haven't just completely given in to overeating. I'm still getting my exercise in each day, drinking my water, getting in my fruits/vegetables/dairy, but I'm just eating junk too. A part of me thinks I just need to do this and get it out of my system, but another part of me thinks that I need to get back in control and realize that eating these foods is not good for me and doesn't solve any problems that I think the food will take care of. So I'm still fighting with myself

Good morning
leesa, congratulations on a 40 lb loss!! That will be fun to go horseback riding.
cj59, I have not really started the new program. I don't count eggs or my chicken so that is nice. But I am horrible about tracking and I know that is key. It's hard to keep it straight on track. Sometimes we need little treats. Just keep working it. You have done so well.
I did a 2 miles WATP workout yesterday. Today I will walk 4 miles on the towpath. I need to figure out this tracking problem.

Good morning
I was last to post so not too much new. I did do my 4 mile walk yesterday. Not sure if I shared this or not, but you can google the C&O Canal. I live around mile marker 51. I love every season on it.

Hi sunrose - I'm sure that's a lovely walk at all times of the year. It's nice that you have that near your home.
I'm still overeating, but doing my exercise and getting in my water, fruits, vegetables and dairy. I'm also tracking what I eat. I'm not beating myself up over this. I think I just needed a break from being so obsessive with all the counting of points.
I had come to the place where it was starting to feel like a job to me each day to be on plan, this is what it is like every day for me - get up, exercise, eat breakfast, walk some more, plan lunch, drink water, spread out meals over the afternoon, walk some more, drink water, drink water, plan dinner, stop eating at a certain in the evening, finally sit on the couch at about 8:00 P.M.
I was just tired. But I'm finding that even though it was nice to eat a bunch of junk food, it doesn't make me feel that good and I'm just about ready to get serious and back on track again.
Hope everyone else is doing better on their plans
