I'm IN.
It's too early. But at least the sun's coming up now (it wasn't, an hour ago).

diva49, good morning. I'm up early too. Even on a day I can sleep in, my body won't cooperate. More coffee for me! We enjoyed the piano recital with the grand kids yesterday and then we ate dinner together at a local seafood restaurant. I had grilled shrimp, salad and green beans. Keeping my eye on my WI this week, excited to hear about the new WW plan. No plans for the day. Will finish the last of the Christmas decorations and addressing a few Christmas cards. The weather is still warm here but a "cool" front is heading our way on Tuesday so then it will feel more like December.

Good morning diva49, linda72, and all that follow. My big goal is to finish the Christmas decorating and get food in crock pots for the week. I will also get a longer workout in today. I'm still recovering from the Badger football game last night. It was a tough loss but they sure fought hard. The rollout today should make for some interesting reading on the boards today! I will have to wait until my WI on Saturday to start. I will keep an open mind and give it a try. All the plans have worked for me (when I follow them); it's just that I like some better than others. Have a great day all!

Good morning all.
Yesterday was so busy, I didn't have a chance to check in. I cleaned out most of my mother's clothes, then did a ton of errands (atm, pharmacy, post office, thrift store drop off, cvs, pet store). Then I went to see Murder on the Orient Express and went out to dinner.
Today I'm planning to do laundry, make baked pasta for later in the week, go grocery shopping. Hopefully sit down and relax this afternoon!
Have a great day everyone!

Congrats Pat! Hi, MJ, Linda, Chessie, 100, Dina, Deb and all who follow. I'm planned but won't track it all until after my indulgent lunch to see what I really have left to work with.

Interesting booklets provided at WW meeting today---nice new recipes. Lots of good discussions. Many concerns about reduction in points (if you don't eat a lot of eggs, chicken, beans, especially). Normal # just resistant to change. Surprise guest... Dr. Gary Foster! Made a few points about the rationale of the particular zero points foods (more for the fact that they are less likely to overeat).
Many folks were not able to access new information (set to reveal on official weigh-in day)---I showed them the work around with changing date/time on the Phone.
Time will tell how if new program works. If they would only make bread a free food...!! LOL

(((100gone))) Going through Mom’s clothes was one of the hardest things - hugs. Hoping to get more Christmas decorating done today just by saying, That goes here and this goes there lol Wishing everyone a great day!

Morning all! I actually got to sleep in a little today. Yay! It is all about the small victories. I have a lot to do, and no desire to do it - i.e. homework - this is the final week before finals and I am burned out for this semester. I'll buckle down I suppose, but I will procrastinate and prolong it as much as I can I'm in with the counting, stepping, accountability. Actually got over 10,000 steps yesterday. First time in a week. I had a 26 day streak, and then "bam" holiday. On to day two for meeting step goal, and trying to break my all time high streak of 45 days in a row! Have a great day everyone!!! Hugs.

Good morning all. (( 100gone )) thinking of you. (( DebDoesWW )) you, too. I apparently slept so well last night that I was awake at 4 AM. I laid in bed until 5 and then got the day rolling. My trackers rolled over to the new plan today even though my weigh-in day is set to Monday; may have something to do with having played the "date game" earlier. So I decided I might as well have the materials to support the plan and went to catch the 9 AM meeting at the "other" WW center near me. The 9 AM meeting there always has a crowd size that is "just right." As pbnj said, the meeting went well, although there were limited questions. I only heard one person who seemed truly disgruntled—she was sitting next to me. She had only ONE issue and that was the fact that Chicken and Turkey dark meat aren't zero points; she could not see how she could possibly survive on 23 points if those two items continued to cost points. I was surprised at how enthuiastic or, if not open-minded the group was. When I was greeted with various new-plan links this morning, one link was to the new cookbook in the online store. reneinitaly , it is Italian and right up my alley. I got to the meeting early to ensure I nabbed a copy in case they sell out. This is a QUALITY hardcover book, and has some storylines in it like Oprah's books. It is $19.95, but the meeting room special was $21.95 for the book, a tote bag, an extra pamphlet-style book on planning, and a box of their zero-point pasta/rie products. I've wanted to try the rice, so I sprang for the deal. I had printed some Marlene Koch recipes for various soups and stews and spent some time early morning identifying points-containing ingredients and calculating points under the new plan. They are all 1 to 4 points except split pea soup, and then I'm not sure about that since the zero-points food list says Peas:...split are zero points, but the tracker says they have points; I will seek clarification on that one. I even looked at one of Marlene's recipes for Chicken and Dumplings using Bisquick HeartSmart and it calculates to 3 points per serving; I can handle that! Breakfast was 2 eggs (0 points), 1 slice of Rye toast (3 points), I Can't Believe...Butter (1 point), and my SF Coffee Mate (2 points)—so 6 points for a decent breakfast. Well that's my morning so far. Going to cook a recipe of my grandmother's that's a kind of hamburger stew, but using ground Turkey breast. With the Turkey substition the recipe will be zero points per serving; and I'll serve it over the WW zero-points Rice that I got this morning. I wish everyone a great day.

(((100gone))) so very sorry for your loss I really wanted to see the Indie movie Lady Bird today but she flew from the nearby theater to one next to Fresno State and a second even farther away. I will try Thursday but she will probably be gone by then. Instead I realized I need to bake since I can be home all day and it will be more efficient. I have made 7 layer cookies and the first of two batches of Nutmeg Noels. I will make mini black bottom cupcakes this afternoon. I do not taste what I bake as it is not for me. I know they are really good. I have to send off cards to Canadian relatives and organize stuff I have bought since September for birthday and December/January gifts. At least it is a gorgeous day. It rained last night and cleared the air, which is blue again.
