I found a small batch (6 regular sized cupcake) Angel Food cupcake recipe that I think can satisfy a real cupcake fanatic for comparatively few calories. Each normal size cupcake is 39 calories according to the recipe author. She recommendeds topping with whipped cream and berries (for additional calories). Certainly light Cool Whip or canned light whipped cream can be used. I'm sorry I don't know the points value or other nutrition stats. If interested the recipe is at: bakingmischief.com/2017/01/13/small-batch-angel-food-cupcakes/

I'm sorry I don't know the points value or other nutrition stats. cyndee , Thank you for the link. We love angel food cake. The sugar & cake flour add up to 18 points so 2 points per cupcake without any toppings. ETA: That should be 3 points per cupcake. Sorry!

cyndee, Apparently, i can't do math anymore because 6 cupcakes & 18 points mean 3 points per cupcake. Yikes! Maybe more coffee will get my brain into gear.
