NO EXCUSES
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN be ON PROGRAM EVERY DAY.

14. For a juice thatβs high in iron, choose prune juice. One cup provides 30% of the RDA for men, 17% of that for women. Prune juice is also rich in potassium.

Your comments on nuts yesterday reminded me of counting points in 1998/9 - I would go to a restaurant with a friend, order salad with vinegar only (0 points), count out ten peanuts (1 point) and order a beer (3 points) - weird memory. As for prune juice - I have never tried it and doubt I will. My guess is that iron needs are much less for me now than they were when I was under fifty

I am a bit cautious of prune juice. A little is fine.

Yeah, you need to be careful with prune juice. I love leafy greens and have beef about once a week. When my iron is checked before donating blood it's always good. I have a banana every day so my potassium is probably OK too.
I tend to stay away from fruit juice in general.
