Starting day four of recording on MFP. So far so good and the scale is going down when I step on it. Hooray. We bought LOTS of vegetables yesterday so have plenty for the week ahead. Plan to walk outside later since the sun is shining and will talk to children and grandchildren via skype this evening.
Lynn: I have not heard of the movie Jackie...unless perhaps it is about Jackie O? Let us know what you think of it.
Cherry: Your pink sunrise over white snow sounds lovely! Might make the cold and snow of winter seem a bit warmer - at least from inside. Do you get the northern lights where you live? Have always wanted to see them someday. Stay warm!
Beverly: How many cats does your daughter have? It is nice of you to care for them. Do you sit and pet them or just put food out and empty their kitty litter? Enjoy the time you spend with your grandson no matter what you end up doing! Do you prepare special foods that are his favorites when he visits?
Pam: Hooray to having Paul moved, the potential for his shower, a mani-pedi pampering session and the thought that in a couple weeks your husband may be home again! Thanks on the scale moving...it moved some more this morning. It usually moves 4 to 6 pounds the first week then slows down to a pound or so per week till I hit a plateau. I expect plateaus at 180 and 160 but who knows for sure. Those were weights I spent more time in the past.

Good morning. We do have northern lights sometimes. There is rarely any color to them, they are mostly just a whitish color. But they do ripple across the northern sky and are fun to watch.
I went in to town last evening for Mass. Got some gas, talked to my grandson for a few minutes at the gas station where he works, then came home. The roads and weather were good, no ice and no wind.
Not much on my schedule today, just a continuation of the few things I have been working on. However I am going to have a Sunday treat of a hot cup of coffee with Kahlua and cream in it. Just one, the rest will be plain.
Have a good day, beaches.

Hi all!
Yes, Cathy, the movie is about Jackie O...Funny story Bev....I thought I purchased tickets for Jackie but it was for next week when it actually opens...Lion happened to be playing and the movie house let us in to see that with our tickets. We won't be up here next week to see Jackie, so all ended well.
Lion was very good!!! We will see Jackie when it comes to a local small movie house near us. That seems to be the only places it is playing here...small artsy theaters.
We will do grocery shopping today and then relax and go out to dinner. We will head home early tomorrow. Cherry and Pam,,,hope Paul is doing well.
Enjoy!

Morning all!! Still rainy & foggy here, hope it clears a little later. Cathy, my DD is a crazy cat lady!!! She has 2 cats inside the house, one of them is 15 yrs old & sickly. (she belonged to DD's late husband, he has been gone for over 10 yrs) So she is very special to DD. I am just hoping she stays well till DD gets back. She is an animal lover, she feeds all the stray cats in the neighborhood, there are about 6 or 8 that hang around outside waiting to be fed on any given day. Also opossums, skunks, (yes, I said skunks), raccoons, wild turkeys & an assortment of every other critter that you can think of. They all know where to go to get fed. I pet the 2 inside & put out tons of food for all the outside varmints. I usually just let my grandson pick anything that he wants to eat. He has always been a very good eater, he loves fruits & veggies!! I try to have plenty on hand when he visits. His aunt is dropping him off here about dinner time (his parents are away on a ski weekend), so we will probably just go out & let him get whatever he wants, unless his aunt has already fed him. DH & I will eat earlier in the day. I am making a chicken dish today. Everyone have a safe & blessed Sunday.

Up early for church, then running a few errands and then to rehab to spend time with dh. He's doing a bit more everyday. Focused and smiling and looking forward to more football. Keep smiling beaches.
