NO EXCUSES
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! 15. Highly nutritious foods are often low in cost. Among them are bananas, carrots, potatoes, wholeÂwheat flour, and dried beans—the sort of high fiber foods that nutritionists now recommend. They also tend to come with minimal packaging—an environmental plus.
Question: 1. Any comments? 2. Any healthy foods you find to be less expensive than others that are healthy and worth looking for?

When we go to the market we usually end up with foods that are in packaging and imported - at least some. Then we go to the produce market and come home with enough fruits and vegetables for MANY meals and it is peanuts to pay for. The farmers in Lebanon cannot export overland due to the war in Syria and other means of export are too expensive SO the farmers sell for low prices and are struggling. I often think that if I would eat only vegetables, dry grains and dry beans with the olive oil and produce from our land our food bills would be much lower. Hmm... NOTE: All of our topics this year are taken from Wellness Made Easy 365 Tips for Better Health. I searched online for it and thought it would give us a topic daily to think about and/or discuss. I am not always a proponent of the ideas BUT am a slacker and thinking of questions daily is not always easy
